Flower Carpet Lumen Prints 🌸

I cannot tell you the excitement I’m feeling about seeing these Lumen Prints today.

They’ve been exposing for 48 hours and these are being created from the disused flowers from Shiraaz Ali‘s beautiful Flower Carpet that was in Bradford two weeks ago.

This is just one of the many processes I’m gonna be experimenting with, and I can’t wait to see how the others turn out.

27/09/2026

Huge thank you 🙏 to Bradford Culture Company and Shiraaz Ali for helping me to collect some of the flowers used to create the stunning Flowers Carpet in Bradford.

i’ve got so many different ideas of how these could be used, and I can’t wait to get in the studio tomorrow to start the testing process.

Stay tuned to see what’s next …

Bring on the flowers 🌺 🌼🌱

This SUNDAY MORNING, come join me for a relaxed photography walk along Oxenhope's Goyt to Haworth, learning new skills and enjoying the views!

I absolutely love this walk, as it has everything you need to get some gorgeous images. Which is why I regularly use it for my portrait sessions (eek, giving away my secrets).

We will be having a relaxed walk through the stunning landscapes along the Goyt, from Oxenhope Train Station to Haworth, where the cafes will be waiting to reward us with some sweet treats.

This in-person event is perfect for all skill levels—whether you're snapping with a smartphone or your fancy DSLR. Connect with fellow photo enthusiasts, pick up tips, and capture some amazing shots along the way.

Don't miss out on this fun, creative outing in the great outdoors!

Where: Oxenhope Millennium Green, Oxenhope, England
When: Sunday 27 September • 10:30 AM - 12 PM

Length: 1 hour 30 minutes
Restrictions: ages 12+

Booking - via our Eventbrite page or the QR codes attached

🌿 Well, this is rather lovely news! 🌿

I’m absolutely thrilled (and a little bit humbled!) to have been nominated for the Keighley Community Climate Champion Award. 💚 whoop whoop 🙌🙌

As you know at Photo Hub North we are passionate about making greener, more sustainable choices and, importantly, encouraging others to see that small changes really can make a big difference.

For me, it’s not about being perfect (I’m far from it!), it’s about doing what we can, sharing ideas, supporting our community and finding ways to make Keighley a greener, healthier and more sustainable place to live. 🌎🌱

The awards bash is this Friday, (eek!) so I’m feeling very excited to get my glad rags on and head along. Just being nominated is a huge honour, and I’m incredibly grateful to whoever put my name forward. 🥰🫶

So… wish me luck! 🤞💚

Whatever happens on Friday, I’ll keep championing greener choices, sustainability and positive change in our community.

🌱 Here’s to making a difference, one small step at a time. 🌱
