a big thank you to our wonderful volunteers and local residents for clearing the planters near the co op and the surrounding area and for planting the beautiful flowers in the planters. The copse wood sign that was totally covered can now be seen. 😊

If you go out for a walk, be sure to stop by and check them out.

Happy long weekend all

Pinewood Group has scheduled maintenance works within the ditch line between 58 Acre Field (Attenuation Pond Field) and Pinewood Green. These works will involve cutting back overgrowth and clearing vegetation.

It has come to their attention that several items are currently stored within the ditch, which may obstruct the planned works, and they have kindly asked that any items are removed from the ditch area by Monday 13th April 2026, to allow the work to proceed as scheduled.

Pinewood aims to commence phase 1 of the works from circa 13th April but will be determined by the support of local residents. Declan Mahoney (Head of Cleaning & Grounds at Pinewood Group; [email protected]) has thanked residents in advance for their co-operation.

It is clear that, behind certain properties, garden waste and random items are being dumped in the ditch: these obstructions are hampering drainage of the field as well as being unsightly and a potential danger to wildlife. Please be mindful of these issues in future. Thank you.

Heads Up IHRA Members !!

🌿 Nature Recovery in The Ivers — A Community Rising Together
Nature recovery isn’t a distant dream for The Ivers—it’s happening right now, led by the people who call this place home. For nearly two years, Iver Villages Together (IVT) has placed Nature Recovery and Wellbeing at the heart of its mission. Today, that commitment is stepping into an exciting new chapter.
🌱 Why Nature Recovery?
Because our green spaces matter. They shape our wellbeing, support wildlife, and define the character of Iver, Iver Heath and Richings Park. Restoring them isn’t just environmental work—it’s community work.
🌍 What Are We Doing?
IVT is launching a bold, community-led initiative:
Our Tiny Forests, Community Woodlands, Gardens & Orchards Project
This is our “How”—the practical, hands-on plan to bring nature back into the everyday lives of local people.
📍 Where Will This Happen?
Across multiple recovery sites throughout the three Iver villages. These are places with potential—spaces that can be transformed into thriving pockets of biodiversity and community activity.
🕰️ When Is It Happening?
The project is already underway, and we’re gearing up for a major milestone:
IVT’s Community Catch Up & 2nd Birthday Event
📅 30th May
Here, we’ll share updates, unveil next steps, and celebrate how far we’ve come.
👥 Who’s Involved?
Everyone.
We’re proud to have numerous pledges of support from:
• Local residents
• Community groups including IHRA
• Site stakeholders
• Businesses offering time, expertise, resources and funding
This is truly a community-powered £250k, 5 year plan.
🚶‍♀️ How Can You Get Involved?
Before the big event, we’re hosting a series of Wild Walks—small guided tours exploring several of the nature recovery sites. These walks are a chance to see the vision first hand, ask questions, and help shape what comes next.

Nature recovery isn’t something happening to The Ivers—it’s something happening with The Ivers. And you’re invited to be part of it.
