ALL ABOARD THIS SUNDAY!

Looking for something a little different to do this Sunday? Come and join us at the Lavender Line on Sunday 11th October for one of our final open days of the season!

🚂 Heritage trains running throughout the day
🚂 Model & Miniature Railway Event – always a favourite with railway enthusiasts big and small!
☕ Tea Room serving delicious treats, cakes and light refreshments
🎁 Gift Shop packed with railway goodies
🚂 Plenty to see, explore and enjoy at our beautifully restored Isfield Station

Our trains will be running from 11:00am, with services approximately every half hour and the last train at 3:30pm.

And, as always, the Lavender Line is entirely run by volunteers – so every ticket, cup of tea and gift shop purchase helps us keep this little railway running and preserve it for the future. 💜

We’re OPEN this Sunday!

Make a date for Sunday 27th September and come and enjoy a day out at the Lavender Line! 💜

Our diesel unit 73140 will be in action, taking you on our two-mile round trip from beautifully restored Isfield Station to Worth Halt and back.

First train: 11:00am
Trains run half-hourly
Last train: 3:30pm
Tickets available from our Gift Shop — no need to book!
☕ And, of course, our Tea Room will be open for those essential coffees, cakes and cream teas!

Everything at the Lavender Line is run by our amazing team of volunteers, so by visiting us you’re helping us keep this little piece of railway history alive. 💜

Would you believe one of our Christmas trains is already almost FULL?! 😱

We know it’s only September… and yes, we’re fully aware that Christmas is still a few months away! 😂 But apparently, some of you are much more organised than we are and have already booked your Christmas trip on the Lavender Line!

If you’re planning to join us, don’t leave it too late — book soon to give yourself the best chance of getting your first choice of date and time.

Otherwise, you might find yourself saying:

Today is your FINAL CHANCE to see Lady Lisa at the Lavender Line before she heads off!

Come and enjoy a trip back in time aboard our heritage railway, soak up the atmosphere at Isfield Station, and give Lady Lisa a proper send-off before she leaves us.

🚗 And there’s even more happening today!
The Southern Classics Car Show is taking place in the field next door, so there’ll be plenty of beautiful classic cars to admire too!

Why not make a day of it?

Trains run from 11:00am, with services throughout the day.
Our Tea Room and Gift Shop will also be open.
Riley's Miniature Railway will be running all day too.

Come along, bring the family and enjoy a double dose of nostalgia at Isfield!

If you’re a regular visitor or supporter of the Lavender Line at Isfield Station in East Sussex you may be interested in becoming a member or volunteer of the Lavender Line Preservation Society.

This helps the Lavender Line to continue work preserving and restoring both Isfield Station and rolling stock.

Annual, 3 year and 5 year Memberships come with the following benefits:

* 50% off train ticket prices that match your membership type on regular opening days - e.g. Adult Members get 50% off Adult Returns or Adult Rovers

FAREWELL, LADY LISA
It’s with a little sadness that we announce that our much-loved steam locomotive Lady Lisa will be leaving the Lavender Line following her final day with us on Sunday 13th September.

Lady Lisa has been a very special part of the Lavender Line, giving our visitors the chance to experience the sights, sounds and atmosphere of steam on our railway. She has created some wonderful memories for our visitors and volunteers alike.

Following her final day with us, Lady Lisa will be making the move to her new home at the Swindon & Cricklade Railway, where we hope she will continue to delight visitors for many years to come.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Colin & Lisa, Lady Lisa’s owners, for bringing her to the Lavender Line and for allowing us to enjoy having her as part of our railway. We’d also like to thank Colin for his personal contribution to the Lavender Line over the years, both as a volunteer and Trustee. We are very grateful for everything he has done for the railway.
If you’d like to see Lady Lisa in steam at the Lavender Line one last time, make sure you join us on Sunday 13th September!

It will be your last chance to see Lady Lisa working on our railway before she heads off to her new home.

From everyone at the Lavender Line, we wish Colin and Lady Lisa every success and happiness at the Swindon & Cricklade Railway. We hope they have many more adventures together!

THANK YOU FOR JOINING US ON MONDAY!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the Lavender Line on Monday. It was fantastic to see so many of you enjoying the railway, and we hope you had a brilliant day with us!

And if you missed us… don’t worry — we’ll be back in action very soon! 👀

SUNDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER – OUR NEXT OPEN DAY

Alongside all the usual Lavender Line and Riley's Miniature Railway fun, Southern Classics will be holding their fantastic classic car show in the field next door! If you have a classic car and want to take part there is no need to book - just turn up - entry is £5 per car. (Entrance to the field is via the Pub car park)

So why not make a proper day of it?

- Perhaps enjoy a footplate ride - only £10

🌧️ A HUGE THANK YOU! 🚂💜

A massive thank you to everyone who came to visit us yesterday — despite the rather enthusiastic efforts of the British weather! ☔😂

We really appreciate you braving the rain and coming along to support the Lavender Line. Our volunteers had a great day, and it was lovely to see so many of you enjoying the railway.

And if you missed us yesterday, we’re OPEN TODAY!

Today we’ll be running 73140, our diesel locomotive, so why not come along for a ride, enjoy a cuppa in the Tearoom and have a browse around the station and Gift Shop? Our friends Riley's Miniature Railway will be open again as well!
