North Ayrshire Community Link Workers Community Link Workers are non-clinical social practitioners who provide support for issues that go b

There are 12 Community Link Workers based in North Ayrshire and each GP practice has access to one within their multidisciplinary team. CLW's can support individuals around a range of social stressors that affect health and wellbeing, for example, money worries, debt, unemployment, social isolation, bereavement supports, alcohol and drug use, managing stress and living a healthier lifestyle.

Alzheimer Scotland is launching a range of community groups across North Ayrshire for people living with dementia or experiencing memory loss, as well as their carers, families and supporters.

⚽ Football Reminiscence – Saltcoats
🍺 Brew & Banter (Men Only Group) – Irvine
🤝 Carers Support Catch Up – Saltcoats
📍 Locations include Irvine, Saltcoats, Kilbirnie and Largs

Community Link Up have an exciting opportunity to provide some young people with tickets to attend the Women’s Scottish Open at Dundonald Links this July! 🏌️‍♀️

Golf is a fantastic way to stay active, improve wellbeing, build confidence and enjoy the outdoors, and this is a great chance to see some of the world’s best players in action.

Some community pharmacies will remain open and can provide advice on choosing and using medicines, as well as support for treating common, everyday ailments. NHS 24 also has pharmacists available to answer medicine‑ and pharmacy‑related questions by calling 111.
