⚠️ Equine influenza cases are currently on the rise across the UK.
With many horses travelling to competitions, camps and events over the summer, now is a good time to review your biosecurity measures and ensure your horse's vaccinations are up to date.

Key things to remember:
✅ Check your horse's vaccination status
✅ Take and record temperatures daily
✅ Watch for symptoms such as a cough, nasal discharge or a temperature above 38.5°C
✅ Isolate new arrivals for at least 14 days
✅ Follow good hygiene practices around the yard

Equine influenza spreads easily and can be carried on clothing, hands and equipment, so vigilance is important.

We've produced a free poster that you can download and display at your yard to help raise awareness and reduce the risk of spread.

So lovely to see so many people enjoying the RoR webinars 💚

Wow, what a week for RoR education! 🎓📖

We had 1,057 people join our webinars on mastering the canter and understanding your ex-racehorse’s behaviour, our highest webinar attendance to date.

Thanks to our partnership with Equine Insurance , all RoR webinars are now free to attend, helping us make expert advice and support more accessible to more former racehorse owners than ever before.

We are also seeing people join from across the world, which is a wonderful reminder of just how far-reaching the RoR community has become.

For us, education is prevention. The more we can help owners understand, support and enjoy their former racehorses, the more we can help those horses thrive in their lives after racing.

🐎 Want to better understand your ex-racehorse’s behaviour?
📣 Join our free webinar: 11 June at 7pm

Why do some ex-racehorses settle quickly into life beyond racing, while others find the transition more challenging?

Join certified equine behaviour consultant Justine Harrison on Thursday 11 June at 7pm as we explore the factors that can influence behaviour, including management, routine and environment, and look at some of the common challenges owners encounter when retraining and rehoming former racehorses.
Drawing on the science of behaviour and learning, Justine will help owners better understand their horses and the reasons behind certain behaviours, providing practical insights that can support a successful transition beyond racing.

💚 Can't make it on the night? Register anyway and we'll send you the recording.
