Lovely autumnal vibes in the park, sunshine still feels warm in between the showers 🍂

Did you know we have a lovely bunch of volunteers that help us look after the park, we meet every first Tuesday of the month for our Outdoor Volunteers group!

At this months session we were still working on the Jack Hill side of the park, we collected 8 bags of rubbish, cleaned up around the benches, we continued the clean up around the basketball court and cut back the grass around the play equipment 💪🍂🧹

Sometimes it feels like a losing battle with amount of litter and fly tipping in the park, but we persist and do what we can!

Many thanks to our wonderful volunteers from S2R Create Space who helped collect 3 bags of litter and remove 6 bags of fly tipped rubbish from the Jack Hill side of the park. We have also made a start cleaning up the overgrown grass from the footpaths.

So much more to do at our next session in October!
