Mexican May Half Term Cookery Workshop (Ages 9–17)
Spice up the school holidays with our exciting Mexican-themed cookery workshop, designed especially for young food enthusiasts aged 9–17! This fun-filled day offers a hands-on opportunity to explore bold flavours, learn essential kitchen skills, and create a variety of delicious Mexican-inspired dishes from scratch.
Throughout the day, children will prepare a fantastic menu including vegetable chilli with nachos, cheese, guacamole and sour cream, fun fajitas (with chicken or a vegetarian option), and even chilli chocolate truffles for a sweet twist.
Led by an experienced teacher, the workshop provides full guidance and instruction in a safe and supportive environment. Children will also learn important health and safety practices, follow easy-to-use recipes, and gain confidence in the kitchen.
To add an extra creative element, participants will take part in a fun design challenge, where they’ll invent their own Mexican-inspired takeaway brand and create a poster to match, combining food, creativity, and imagination!
