Alan gets around!

Free Wheeler Alan Petherbridge has been busy meeting up with Free Wheelers.

Firstly, at the Lincolnshire Freemasons promotions meeting last weekend. This was on at the same time as our regular lodge meeting, so we missed Alan and Stuart's company, but we are sure that the PGM appreciated it!

Secondly, Alan was star of the show as he was installed as master of St Swithun's RAM lodge. Jonothan Plotnek, Free Wheelers' Almoner, was on hand support.

More elusive than the dodo, as infrequent as a total eclipse, as unexpected as a snowstorm in July...yes it's the Free Wheelers in Athleticwear! Join us to walk, run, and most important, talk, at our next parkrun this time visiting Belvoir Castle - Saturday 27th June, 9AM. It would be great to see you there!

All meetings of Free Wheelers are a happy occasion, but the June meeting in Deeping seemed particularly joyful.

Maybe it was the new member (welcome Mike!), or was it because the talk about Freemasons and the Titanic, delivered by Jonothan Plotnek, went down so well?

Was it the wonderful serendipity of Ian Batchelor winning the giant TLC bear for the second time in a row, and knowing he'll be taking it to Great Yarmouth's meeting?

Or the training aid bought for the Junior Warden, Gordon Clark, to assist with his Scottish knocks?

Certainly, the forget-me-nots, supplied and transported by Stewart Buckingham's Tuk-Tuk added another positive aspect to the day.

No, it was all of those and more, but most of all, spending a few hours together on summer Saturday, with brothers and great friends.

Free Wheelers assembled to support Dave Wheeler, the PGM, in welcoming Guy Smith to Lincoln.

A welcoming party of Chris Jones, Ian Batchelor, Stewart Buckingham, Gordon Clark, Kevin Ian Peutrill, Chris Fletcher and more were on hand to ensure that he arrived safely and received the clear message that !

Free Wheelers, Freeloaders and Open Roaders!

When a member of Free Wheelers joins a new order it is another excuse (as though one is needed!) for us to turn out to support. In this case, Chris Jones joined Rose Croix at a seaside meeting in Skegness.

Membership of further orders not only increases the depth of masonic knowledge, it gives another option for shared enjoyment, visits, and another topic of conversation.

Free Wheelers Alan Petherbridge, Clive Stark, Gordon Clark and Chris Fletcher were pictured with the other "wheeled" lodge in Lincolnshire - Open Road Lodge of MMM.

Provincial Media expert, Simon Sean Noden, was previously honoured for his support for Free Wheelers Lodge with the presentation of the highly prized distinctive waistcoat, and the title of "Free Loader"!

Looking forward to welcoming Guy Smith into Lincolnshire Freemasons when he crosses the Humber Bridge, hopefully sometime tomorrow (Friday 5th June). Please join us in following Guy and supporting him in any way you can on his mammoth 400 Mile run from Northumberland Freemasons in Newcastle to United Grand Lodge of England in London… 💪😰🤝

International Jet Setter Alan Petherbridge was briefly back in the UK to attend the installation meeting of Philadelphia Council of RSM. Good job too, as he was master!
