is Colias croceus, the Clouded Yellow butterfly. Recorded in Pembrokeshire by Abi Fosdike on iRecord. Thank you for sharing your records.

🧐this year has seen a big influx of butterflies and moths from continental Europe and North Africa, with lots of Painted ladies and Clouded yellows. The Clouded yellow larval food plants include species of legumes, including clovers, alfalfa and birds foot trefoil. During a good year they can have up to three broods, with females producing as many as 600 eggs and adults can be seen flying as late as November.

‼️This is the first record of this species in Wales, found and recorded by Liam Olds 📸of Glo i Natur CIC at the The National Botanic Garden of Wales annual Bioblitz Festival ‼️

🧐this species is associated with the plant genus Tripleurospermum. First recorded in the UK in London in 2023, then in Worcestershire in 2025 (NBN atlas) 🧐
