🎭✨ Songs From Broadway & Beyond – Supporting Leominster Meeting Centre ✨🎭

We are delighted to be supported by the wonderful Love To Sing, who are presenting an evening of musical favourites from Broadway and beyond on Saturday 18th July 2026 at Holy Trinity Church, Hereford.

What makes this fundraiser even more special is that Hayley from Love To Sing joins us at Leominster Meeting Centre on the first Tuesday of every month to lead our "Love To Sing Memories" sessions.

These sessions are so much more than singing. Music has a remarkable ability to unlock memories, spark conversations, boost confidence, and bring joy to people living with dementia. We've seen members who struggle to find words suddenly singing every lyric to a favourite song, sharing treasured memories, and connecting with others through music.

At Leominster Meeting Centre, we know how important activities like this are in helping people living with dementia stay active, engaged, and connected within their community. Hayley's sessions always bring smiles, laughter, and plenty of singing along!

By purchasing a ticket, you'll not only enjoy a fantastic evening of entertainment featuring songs from hit musicals including Hamilton, Matilda, Phantom of the Opera, Frozen, Sister Actand more, but you'll also be helping to support people living with dementia in Herefordshire.

Where would we be without our wonderful volunteers? Quite simply, the centre wouldn't run as smoothly, warmly, or happily as it does.

From their friendly smiles and helping hands to their questionable singing voices, each and every one of them plays a vital role in making Leominster Meeting Centre such a special place.

🗺️ Help us tell our members’ stories

We’re working on a special project capturing the stories and memories of our members — and we’re looking for maps from across the UK to help bring those memories to life.

Many of our members have lived all over the country, so we’re not just looking for local maps — any UK maps, past or present, could be really valuable.

Old maps, town plans, road maps… anything that helps connect people to places they remember.

The Meeting Centre recently celebrated its 10th anniversary – a truly proud milestone for the centre, its staff, and volunteers. Many of our team have been with us since day one, witnessing the centre grow and evolve while continuing to provide unwavering support to our members and their carers.

Over the years, countless friendships have been formed, and every member is remembered with great fondness, reflecting the strong sense of community at the heart of the centre.

Our celebration brought together members, carers, trustees, the Lord Lieutenant of Herefordshire,the Mayor of Leominster, and representatives from Herefordshire Council – a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the journey so far and look ahead to the future.

The service also provides valuable respite time for carers, giving them the opportunity to rest, attend appointments, or take time for themselves while knowing their loved one is safe and well supported.
