Situated in the heart of Stondon, Bedfordshire, just a few miles north of Hitchin, Hertfordshire, the Stondon Community Centre is a welcoming space at the centre of village life. Opened in 2025, the centre provides a hub for events, activities, and gatherings. Whether you’re joining us for a community event, attending a regular class, or planning a special celebration, our aim is to create a warm

and inclusive space for everyone. The Community Centre is available for hire all year round, catering to regular groups as well as one-off bookings, with a range of flexible facilities to suit your needs:

Main Hall – A spacious, versatile hall that can be divided into two smaller areas (capacity: 150 standing or 120 seated)

Function Room – Perfect for meetings, workshops, and small group activities (capacity: 50 seated)

Changing Rooms – Home, Away, and Officials’ changing facilities

Commercial Kitchen – Fully equipped, with direct access to the Main Hall

Bottle Bar – Accessible from both the Function Room and Main Hall

Parking – 35 on-site spaces, including 4 electric vehicle charging points, plus an overflow car park for 25 vehicles nearby

Whether it’s a community gathering, private party, business meeting, or sports event, we’re proud to provide a modern, friendly venue for the people of Stondon and beyond.
