Hemingfords Regatta

Hemingfords Regatta Hemingfords' Regatta may be the only surviving village regatta in the country. It has been held almost every year since 1901.

The races are open to residents of the Hemingfords in Cambridgeshire and nearby villages.

We're incredibly lucky to have received some fantastic raffle prizes for this year's Hemingfords' Regatta Ball, generously donated by local businesses and organisations.
🎟️ Raffle tickets will be available to purchase on the night for just £5 per strip, with payment by card only.

🚣The boats are out and ready to be worked on prior to the Practice Evenings!

Thank you so much to everybody who came along this morning to put in the effort to help our Regatta. It's very much appreciated and really goes to show that many hands make light work.

We now look forward to the Practice Evenings starting on the 15th June - if you would like to help out at the Practice Evenings even for one night then please send a private message on here or email to [email protected] and we can add you to the rota - we'll explain everything you need to know!

Think rowing, punting and paddling the boats is tough? They need to get to the water first!

We'll be getting the boats out of storage on SUNDAY AT 10AM. We really need as many stronger bodies as possible to help move them! Many hands literally make light work (and let us all get on with the rest of our Sundays sooner)!

Summer is still considering it's arrival but the Practice evenings for the Regatta are soon approaching starting on the 15th June.

This Sunday the 17th May at 10am, we'll be getting the boats out of storage to get them ready in time. We need as many strong bodies as possible to help move them!
