When advertising Riverport WI, I often get comments like "what about men's groups?"

It's not what we do, but we're fortunate that there's quite a few social groups in the area including ones for just men. I've spotted a brand new men's group opening in Huntingdon with their first meeting on Monday! I hope they are successful and the participants enjoy themselves.

Our September meeting is tonight! Our speaker will be Sophie Etheridge, Adaptive Athlete. She's a badass.

Sophie is a disabled marathon swimmer, a STA Level 2 Open Water Coach and Swim teacher, a RLSS Open Water Lifeguard, and the Founder of Adaptive and Disabled Open Water Swimmers. We can't wait to hear from her.

New faces are always welcome. Your first meeting is free!

You'll find us in St Ives Corn Exchange, upstairs in the cafe area from 7:30pm.

Today is WI Day and our 110th birthday! For our members, the 16 September always presents a chance to celebrate the firm friendships in our movement, recognise our fantastic legacy of inspiring women, and reflect on all that we achieve together through our quiet yet persistent power.

There's no public meeting tonight!

Included in WI membership is 11 meetings per year, and we welcome visitors to those meetings. This month is our annual members only meeting, so please don't go to St Ives Corn Exchange as we won't be there! We're off causing chaos elsewhere.

Our next meeting is Tuesday 16th September. We look forward to seeing our members and visitors then.
