Community Cuppa tackling social isolation We also have collection points so that individuals make make donations too.

A wide-ranging project that supports our community in many ways: -
Foodbank
Baby bank
practical support including, clothes, household items etc
IT coaching, help to complete forms etc. We take surplus food from shops and food businesses that might otherwise go to waste and distribute quickly and efficiently to people in our community. We accept all kinds of food including fresh (fruit and veg), chilled and frozen as long as it meets food safety standards. Our aims are to : -
- help shops and food businesses meet their zero waste targets
- support families and individuals across the Isle of Axholme

Our annual Christmas Gift collection is now underway, ensuring that all the children in families that we support receive a gift this Christmas.

🎄✨ LET'S SPREAD A LITTLE CHRISTMAS MAGIC! ✨🎄
This Christmas, Happy Café will be collecting gift donations in support of the Isle of Axholme Food Share Project. ❤️
We want to help bring a little Christmas magic to children across the Isle who might otherwise wake up without a present to open.
Every child deserves a little sparkle at Christmas, and together we can help make that happen. 🎁
Whether it's a small gift or something bigger, every donation will make a difference.
🎅 Let's come together, spread some kindness and make sure as many little faces as possible light up this Christmas.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to circumstances outside of our control we are currently unable to accept donations of furniture, bric-a-brac, clothes and baby items.

Our container is full to overfowing and we do not have a vehicle available to deliver and collect the donations.

We are, as always, happy to accept donations of food, toiletries, pet food and cleaning products to support families across the Isle of Axholme.

Please accept our apologies for any incovenience caused.

Due to a vehicle breakdown and a very long wait for parts we are unable to collect or deliver large items of furniture for a while. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Harvest time is approaching, a time to give thanks for all the good food that we have available in the UK. It's also a time when we think about others. A number of local churches, schools and other community groups will kindly collect harvest gifts for us. A very big thank you to all of those groups.

Would your group be able to support families across the Isle of Axholme by holding a collection for us? If you could please let us know and we will arrange to collect it from you. We can also send a speaker to your group to explain about the work of the Isle of Axholme Foodshare Project.
