Who we are and what we do
Riverside Training Services have teamed up with HIS Church in the past(https://www.facebook.com/h15church) to host a food bank at our premises on Market Street in Gainsborough.
The aim is to provide help and support to people who can struggle to feed themselves and/or their families. The food bank is not intended as a regular solution to those in need, particularly as the stock we receive can be quite random and won’t necessarily cover all food groups.
Users of the food bank will have to register when they first visit, where we will try to help provide a much longer term solution to their problems (e.g. helping them get back to work/CV workshop/manage budgeting/literacy and maths skills/mental health issues), working with other agencies, charitable organisations and training providers.
We also welcome donations!
