Please support Muker Show if you can to help them raise the money to buy the field which has been the home of the show for over 100 years.

We were delighted to attend the Woodcraft Studio today, along with other local charities, to receive a cheque for £1000 towards our Show Field fundraising. The studio donates all profits made from their annual Christmas Shopping days at the studio and Muker Show stall to local good causes. Claire Lambert said "The Woodcraft Studio is delighted to support Muker Show towards the purchase of the show field.”

A huge thank you to all the volunteers at Woodcraft Studio (Gayle Mill Trust) for their donation of £1000 to the team. The money is raised each year at their Christmas Shopping days where they sell a wide range of wooden items , all beautifully made by the volunteers. Thank you.

All of the hard work put in by the volunteers of The Woodcraft Studio paid off today with donations made to local charities and good causes. So thank you to everyone who has bought items from us in the last year, including our stall at Muker Show and our annual Christmas Shopping Days in November (which we will be running again this year). All of your purchases count and as a result we have been able to add our (and your) support to Bainbridge Christmas Lights, Hawes Christmas Lights, Hawes in Bloom, The Muker Showfield appeal for the showfield purchase, Swaledale Mountain Rescue, Great North and Yorkshire Air Ambulances.
Thank you to all who came today to accept the donations, our customers, supporters and all of the volunteers who make this possible.

Thank you from all of us at The Woodcraft Studio. We have very much appreciated your support and purchases over our Christmas Shopping Weekends, which will be used in turn to support local causes and charities in the Upper Dales. Our dedicated volunteers work hard all year and it is great that you love and buy the items that we make. That and the funds raised make it all worthwhile.

Whilst our Shopping Weekends have finished, if you would still like to shop with us then we can open by appointment only up to Christmas. To arrange an appointment you can call us on 07892 418582.

What a wonderful frosty day to do some festive shopping at the Woodcraft Studio in Wensleydale. This is our last Christmas Shopping Day this year and there’s still plenty to choose from. We are heritage craftspeople who make and sell items to support local charities and good causes that help and support our local communities in the Upper Dales. We are open today from 10.30 until 4pm (if we haven’t sold out by then), free admission, free parking, free refreshments and the view comes for free too! So get a cuppa and a mince pie whilst you wander around choosing from our wooden items and gifts that are only made and sold by us. You can find us at Raygill House Farm DL8 3PP on the A684 between Hawes and Bainbridge. Look out for the red signs to guide you. All are welcome including dogs on leads. Credit cards and cash accepted.

We have owls, pigs, Robins, angels, snowmen and Christmas trees. Stunning hand turned bowls in oak, ash, sycamore, cherry and elm. Unique laburnum lamps with a wonderful grain. Trugs small and large for the gardeners in your life and exotic hardwood shoe horns to help get your boots on. Chopping boards that are simply useful things of beauty in all types of wood. Rolling pins (where can you find a decent rolling pin nowadays?), spatulas, recipe book and laptop stands. In fact if you can make it in wood, we probably have!

The fire is lit, the kettles on and a warm festive welcome awaits.
