Off The Record South East Hampshire

Off The Record South East Hampshire Supporting young people’s mental health to fulfil their potential for a brighter future.

We opened our doors to young people in 1977 to help support them through difficult periods in their lives; mostly anxiety and family & relationships issues, but also anger, low self-esteem and low mood. We offer one to one counselling, family counselling, groupwork, young carers, and support for parents free of charge.

We’re so proud to host a party for our young carers and their families – filled with cake, games, great food, and lots of dancing! 🎈

It’s fantastic to see our young carers and their families come together, connect, and celebrate. Caring can be tough, so creating moments to relax, have fun, and feel part of a community are important.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special. 💕

Being a Young Carer can be really tough, looking after a family member at home, on top of juggling the rest of life’s challenges.

This Carers Week we’re building carer-friendly communities that support carers in every area of their lives. We’re hosting a Young Carers’ party and gathering thoughts on what community means to them.

Our Havant Young Carers project provides fortnightly clubs and trips in the holidays to provide a break from caring. It’s a safe space to talk, and make friends with others that have the same responsibilities! ✨

If you help look after a family member at home, you’re not alone.💛

Our Support Volunteers make check-in calls to young people while they are waiting for counselling. It’s important as it can help to avoid feelings of abandonment after asking for help and while waiting to get counselling.
