Get ready for a hilarious evening of chaos, confusion and comedy as Hurst Players bring One Man, Two Guvnors to the stage!

Written by Richard Bean and directed by Paul Davey, this brilliantly funny comedy promises plenty of laughs and a whole lot of trouble when one man finds himself working for… two guvnors! What could possibly go wrong? 😱😂

Performances are 15–19 September at 7.30pm at Players Theatre, Hurstpierpoint

We are busy preparing for our upcoming production of One Man, Two Guvnors… and we need a few extra pairs of hands! 🙌

✨ BACKSTAGE HELP NEEDED
We’re looking for several people to help with the many scene changes throughout the production. No need to tread the boards – you can be part of the action from behind the scenes!

We may also be looking for a lighting operator to join our technical team.

Elizabeth Hartley-Trumpington. Absolutely delighted to make your acquaintance.

I do hope this weekend won’t be too terribly rustic. One can only endure so much fresh air before it becomes positively exhausting. Still, Mildred always manages to gather together the most fascinating people … and where there are fascinating people, there are usually fascinating secrets.

I adore the finer things in life: Paris fashions, good champagne, handsome men, and being right. Not necessarily in that order. Some people mistake that for vanity, but really, it’s simply a commitment to maintaining one’s standards.

Of course, every gathering has its little dramas. Old friendships, old rivalries, old romances … they do have a habit of resurfacing when people are shut up together under one roof. Personally, I find it all tremendously entertaining.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I simply must find out who’s wearing last season’s clothes.
