Who are we?
Age UK is a registered charity in the United Kingdom, formed on 25 February 2009, and launched on 1 April 2009, which combines the operations of the previously separate charities Age Concern and Help the Aged to form the UK's largest charity for older people.
We have a core base of committed members at The Cherry Tree in Burgess Hill, who love the service we provide. We’re looking to increase our numbers regularly and are looking for people who would like to join our centre and have fun with friends, take up a hobby or activity and enjoy delicious freshly-cooked lunches.
We have a varied programme of activities including Tai Chi, Chairobics and Healthy Walks as well as, Curling, Skittles and Darts. Other social activities include quizzes, Bingo, Art Club, Cross Stitch and Flower Arranging to name a few!
