We are working to reduce blindness and provide specialist treatment and eye care services to marginalised communities within Kenya.

In Kenya too many people's lives are unnecessarily limited by blindness or impaired vision, simply because the eye care they need isn't available. SeeKenya provides trustworthy, high quality and life-improving eye care to prevent blindness, restore sight and improve eye health. We normally run two clinics a year in Meru, Kenya, and we are working to establish a permanent clinic to help as many people as we can. Charity No: 1151951

This weekend, we had the absolute joy of hosting Bishop Edward Buria and Fridah, our Kenyan partners, here in Sussex.

It was such a special time of fellowship - sharing meals, stories and laughter, as well as spending time talking about our upcoming trip and future plans for SeeKenya. We also had the privilege of hearing Bishop Edward preach at The King's Church Mid-Sussex on Sunday, bringing such encouragement to us all.

We’re so grateful for the friendship and partnership we share with Edward and Fridah, and for the opportunity to spend time together, pray and seek God for all that He has ahead for SeeKenya.

We loved having you with us! ❤️

With her nursing background, Wendy brings a wealth of medical experience to every trip, but it's her servant-hearted attitude that really stands out. From helping with trip preparations to supporting our clinics, we are so grateful that she's always ready to lend a hand.

A huge thank you to Home Coffee House for hosting their first ever quiz last night and choosing to support SeeKenya! 🧠

We had such a lovely evening, and thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, over £300 was raised to support our eye care work in Kenya. 🎉

The quiz was great fun, and we’re delighted to say that the SeeKenya team even managed to come third! 🥉

Our new portable retinal camera has arrived! 👁️📸

A huge thank you to Festival Medical Services and Birmingham Optical for helping make this possible.

This camera will play an important role in our eye care clinics, allowing our optometrists to capture detailed images of the retina. These images help detect and monitor sight-threatening eye conditions, supporting earlier diagnosis and better patient care.
