Another successful Dementia Festival today in Petersfield. Organised perfectly by Audrey Morton and her team from Dementia Friendly Petersfield and as always ... Supported by local MP's Damien Hinds and Gregory Stafford MP
The event was finished off with entertainment from Petersfield Dementia Choir.

On Saturday night, not even the atrocious weather stopped more than 80 people joining us at Grayshott Village Hall for our first Quiz Night since Covid!
The winning team was The Quizabelles, captained by Kate Bradford, one of our Trustees. Congratulations to Kate and her family. 👏👏

Thank you to Quizmaster, James Newman and to local businesses for their kind donations to the raffle, including Haslemere Bookshop, The Fox and Pelican Pub in Grayshott, Haskins Garden Centre Forest Lodge, The Bayleaf and the Gurka Garden restaurants.
The evening raised just over £1,000 to be used for activities at the day centre.

We had a lovely afternoon with the animals from Mill Cottage Farm. Lots of cuddles and afternoon sunshine. Thank you to Tom , Sarah and Liv for sharing their beautiful furry friends. We have always enjoyed their visits and wish them all the very best for the future. We will miss you !!

We had a great morning at the Health Fair held at the Forest Community Centre, Bordon, organised by Gregory Stafford and his team.
Lots of links were formed.

Charlotte offers Functional Reflex Therapy known as FRT
It offers a unique rainbow relaxation routine, by inducing calmness on the hands or feet for children and adults with high levels of anxiety, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, neurological impairment and complex needs including those living with Dementia. This short routine supports with a reduction in agitation/anxiety for the above individuals.

The Hunter Centre Quiz Night!
Saturday 24th October 2026
Come along with your friends for what promises to be an entertaining evening of quizzing accompanied by a proper fish and chip shop supper. We are hosting the event at Grayshott Village Hall, Headley Rd starting at 7pm and there will be a raffle too.

The evening is in aid of the work we do at The Hunter Centre, supporting those living with dementia, so it is all in a good local cause. Simply put together a team of up to 6 and contact Elaine for an application form at [email protected] or 01428 654710.
