Thank you to all HCRA residents for coming out and helping with Dump Run 2026 yesterday! We shifted tons of old furniture and junk to the Harrow Civic Amenity Site.

We also cleared up the previously posted massive flytip behind Mobility World (see before and after photos at the end). At the bottom of the tip we found an active bumblebee colony, and The Queen made a brief appearance! We left it in situ and repurposed a dumped cupboard for their use.

A big thanks to Councillor David Perry and Harrow Council for providing a tipper truck and drivers, saving potentially dozens of new flytips in our neighbourhood.

We could really do with a few more pairs of hands this Saturday 18th April cleaning up the area behind Mobility World, 9-1 pm - please come and help!!!

Bring a smile and gloves, we’ll supply tonne bulk bags for waste. 😊

Update on the restoration of the community garden:

A team of HCRA volunteers shifted four tons of soil as part of a revamp of our popular community garden. Helpers of all ages came out in force on Saturday, February 21 to top up the garden beds with compost. The event was the latest phase of a major project to restore the garden, which

REMINDER: Tomorrow (Saturday 21st February) is Compost Day at the HCRA community garden. We have four tons of compost to put into the garden beds and need help. The event starts at 10am at the garden outside the Stop and Shop Convenience Store. We have some tools but bring gardening gloves and a shovel - if you have one. Plastic garden trugs will also be useful for shifting soil. Hopefully see you there. From the HCRA gardening group.
