What a wonderful evening we had at our Summer Festival on Saturday night at The Salvation Army Harpenden.

Music for a Summer’s Evening truly lived up to its name – a joyful, uplifting, and memorable night for everyone who came along.

From the beautiful sounds of the Brass Band and Songster Brigade to the stunning performance from our guest soloist Lizzie Orr on cello, every moment felt really special.

Huge thanks to our Band Master, Nigel Hills and Songster leader Roland Hills as well to Major Richard Gaudion and Nicola Beart for their fantastic accompaniment.

It was so lovely to see the hall full to capacity of people sharing in the music and fellowship.

Your support made the evening even more amazing.

Thank you to everyone who took part, helped organise, and came along – we couldn’t have done it without you.

Here’s to more evenings filled with music and joy! 🙏🎶

Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

Each of us has been lovingly created with intention. You are not an accident, you are God’s handiwork.

And not only that, He has already prepared good things for you to step into.

As you go through your week, take a moment to pause and ask:

What good works might God be inviting me into today?

Where can I show kindness, love, or encouragement?

Let us walk confidently in the purpose God has already laid out for us🙏
