We offer a weekly Sunday drop-in 5-7pm providing hot food, drinks and takeaway food at The Playbarn, GPCA, Abercrombie Way, Harlow CM18 6YJ

Thank you to the wonderful Red Team for hosting the Sunday drop-in today. Our guests enjoyed a delicious feast of homemade pulled pork served in a roll with coleslaw, potato salad and a side salad followed by school cake and custard. A massive thank you to Greggs for donating lots of goodies to our guests today including sausage rolls, doughnuts and cookies.

Celebrating National Volunteers’ Week🥳

This week, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to our incredible community of volunteers who give their time to prepare, cook and serve a hot meal and dessert week in, week out at the Sunday drop-in. A thank you also goes out to the small but mighty team of trustees who are powered by crisps and jelly sweets 😂

The Poplar Kitten pub will be supporting them to fundraise.

A huge thank you to our friends at Integration Support for hosting this Sunday’s drop-in and providing such a warm and welcoming space for our guests.

Guests enjoyed a truly delicious feast, featuring chargrilled chicken marinated in salça, bulgur with orzo, Turkish shepherd’s salad, and a homemade marble cake topped with fresh strawberries and chocolate sauce. 😋

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to The Luxury Picnic Co. for their generous donation of stunning mezze and garden trays, which perfectly complemented the meal prepared by the team and were enjoyed by all.

A huge thank you to our Silver Team, with fantastic support from the Blue and Gold Teams, for braving the heat of the kitchen to host the Sunday drop-in! 🤍💙💛

It was a busy evening, with guests enjoying a delicious beef and lentil cottage pie served with green beans, followed by apple crumble and ice cream 🍽️🍎🍨

We’re incredibly proud of our Chair, Jo, for being nominated in the Harlow Hero category at the Harlow Awards.

While we didn’t take home the award this time, being recognised alongside so many inspiring people in our community is a huge honour.

Thank you to everyone who supported and voted for us. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners! 🎉❤️

Another incredibly busy Sunday, with almost 40 guests dropping in. Thank you to Yellow team for hosting this evening 💛.
Our guests enjoyed cheeseburgers 🍔 with chips and coleslaw followed by ice creams 🍦and rolls and crisps to take away - yummy! 😋 💛💛💛

Lots of thank yous from us this evening… 🙏

Thank you to the wonderful Olive team for hosting the Sunday drop-in last week. Olive team served our guests chilli with rice followed by a freshly prepared fruit salad. Yummy! 😋 🍇 🍈 🍏

A thank you to the amazing Orange team for hosting the Sunday drop-in this evening. Guests enjoyed lasagna and chips with veg followed by sticky toffee pudding with custard or ice cream, which was kindly donated to us by Gü. 🙏 The dessert went down so well that we broke our own rules by taking photos of some of our guests with their dessert.

So, the final thank you of the evening goes to Gü Desserts for supporting The Chocolate Run by donating the delicious sticky toffee pudding.
