📣 PTA AGM – We Need Your Help! 📣

Due to personal commitments, our current committee are stepping down from their voluntary roles in the PTA. We have an incredible team of parents who help run events and will still be there, but we need people to fill those main key roles.

Our AGM is taking place on 14th April in the school hall at 4:30pm, and we are urgently looking for volunteers to step into the key roles of Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary.

Without people to fill these positions, the PTA will unfortunately have to stop — which means no more events, fundraising, or extra support for our children.

Here’s a quick overview of what each role involves:

⭐ Chair
• Leads the PTA and helps organise meetings
• Works with the school and committee to plan events
• Supports volunteers

💰 Treasurer
• Manages the PTA finances
• Keeps track of income and spending
• Provides simple financial updates at meetings

📝 Secretary
• Takes notes at meetings
• Shares updates and communications with parents
• Helps keep everyone informed and organised

You don’t need previous experience — just a little time and a willingness to help make a difference. Many hands make light work, and you’ll have support from the team. 🤝

🚨PTA Help Needed – We Can’t Continue Without You 🚨

We’re reaching out to our school community because we urgently need volunteers to step into key PTA roles. Without people to take these on, the PTA simply won’t be able to continue. We have enjoyed our year starting up again but due to personal commitments, our current committee are stepping down from the main roles after the AGM on 14th April.

The PTA plays a huge part in supporting our children – from funding resources and events to building a stronger school community. But it only works if we have parents and carers willing to help run it.

We are looking for people to take on roles such as:
• Chair / Co-Chair
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• General committee members

These roles don’t require special experience – just a bit of time and willingness to help, and a desire to support our school. You won’t be on your own, and there will be handover support available.

If we cannot fill these positions, the PTA will have to stop, which means fewer events, less fundraising, and missed opportunities for our children.

🍫🐰 A Little Easter Treat! 🐰🍫

We’re delighted to share that the Easter Bunny has hopped into Homefield and made sure there’s a chocolate surprise for every child! 🐣✨

Each child will be bringing an Easter egg home on Friday—just a little treat to celebrate the end of term.

Wishing all our families a lovely, relaxing Easter break filled with fun and chocolate! 🌷💛🐰

📢 Important PTA Update 📢

We wanted to let you know that the current PTA committee will be stepping down due to personal commitments.

It has been an absolute pleasure being part of such a supportive school community. We’re incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved together — from events and fundraisers to creating special moments for the children. None of it would have been possible without your help and enthusiasm.

We’ll continue in our roles until the AGM to ensure a smooth handover, and we’re happy to support anyone interested in getting involved moving forward. Fresh ideas and new faces are always welcome! ✨

If you feel you may be able to take on any part of the PTA roles, we would really encourage you to put yourself forward. To do this, you must nominate yourself and be present at the upcoming AGM.

The PTA plays such an important role in supporting our school and children, and it would be wonderful to see it continue. However, if no one comes forward to take on these roles, the PTA will unfortunately have to be dissolved.

We are pleased to invite you to attend our PTA Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will take place on Tuesday 14th April at 4:30pm in the school hall.

This AGM will give us the opportunity to share and celebrate the PTA’s first year, including a summary of the events we have held, the funds we have raised, and how this money has supported the school and our children. During the meeting you will receive copies of both the Chair’s Report and the Treasurer’s Report outlining the PTA’s activities and finances over the past year.

We will also be electing members for the PTA committee for the upcoming year. The roles available are:
