Halloween Party! We had appearances from a giant chicken, various legendary murderers and psychopaths, and at least one young person was kidnapped by a big green alien. Just what everyone wants from their local youth centre 🙏

Thanks everyone for coming and helping us create lots of new memories together!

🌱🏆 GOLD FOR GODALMING & TOP 4 IN THE UK! 🏆🌱

We are absolutely bursting with pride! Following the Britain in Bloom awards ceremony, Godalming Town Council has officially been awarded a 2026 RHS National Gold Award in the town and city centre category! 🌺✨

Even more excitingly (for us!), Godalming Youth Service was named one of the TOP FOUR nominated groups in the entire UK for supporting young people in gardening! 🌿💪

This incredible recognition is a huge tribute to our young people, youth workers, and the small, dedicated team who work tirelessly to keep our wellbeing garden growing and thriving.

Godalming Mayor, Cllr Tom Kiehl, who attended the ceremony, shared:

“This is a massive achievement by those directly involved in Floral Godalming and Godalming Youth Service, which everyone in Godalming should be proud of. Every plant needs strong roots, so I would also like to thank the many others who have supported Floral Godalming over the years as it has grown to the success it has.”

A massive thank you to everyone for growing this success together with us! 💚

Here’s to our youth, our team, and a blooming bright future for Godalming! 🎉🌼

🎃 Lots of variety at Youth Club this week! 🎃

While we’re busy getting everything ready for Halloween, there’s been plenty more going on too!

🍳 Cooking at our Youth Café
🃏 Trading Pokémon cards
💬 Talking about how we tackle challenging situations at Girls’ Night
⚔️ Fitting in a few games of Warhammer too!

It seems to get busier every week, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s fantastic to see so many young people getting involved, trying new activities, and spending time together in such a positive environment.

🌟 Arts, Crafts and Spookiness! 🌟

Our new jewellery making drop-in activity is becoming a huge hit! 💎 The young people loved getting creative and produced some fantastic pieces to take home.

As always, creativity was flowing throughout the club, with young people helping to decorate our walls and get everything ready for Halloween 🎃🕸️

It was also great to welcome our new Year 7 members, who are settling in really well and getting stuck into all the activities on offer.

Our dedicated and inventive staff love to bring in new activities to keep things interesting and fresh alongside our usual fun sessions, so watch this space!

👏 Well done to everyone for making it such a fun and positive Youth Club!
