Busy night for us tonight. 4 lads out on the stubby's show in oldham.
1st skills for young aaron and arlo. Showing great progress and listening well to instructions.
Max losing to a decision against a strong lad from beartown.
Cant help but feel for fin tonight. Scored a count with in the 1st minute and disqualified for a bad call from the referee. We go again next week finn

All in all a good night and proves the club is moving in the right direction. 🥊🥊🥊

🥊 The Jab Is Just the Beginning… The Real Skill Is What Comes After

Too many fighters throw the jab… and admire it.

That’s a mistake.

The moment you step in with a jab, you’ve entered range—and if your head stays on the center line, you’re there to be hit.

Jab → Move your head → Stay in control.

Slip left.
Slip right.
Roll under.
Take a slight angle.

Different tools. Different purposes. Same goal—don’t be where the return fire is coming.

This is where defense becomes offense.

Your jab draws the reaction… your head movement makes them miss… and now you’re in position to come back with clean shots while they’re off balance.

That’s how you control exchanges.
