We’re having another tidy up of the village hall grounds, are you able to help? Small jobs and larger. If you can just spare an hour that is absolutely fine. The long overdue revamp of the bar in the Millennium Hall is now complete and doesn’t it look superb. Thanks to all involved in making this happen. We’ve had great reports from bar and coffee morning volunteers as well as hall regulars.

An interesting find from under the floor of the village hall. There are two note books from the Arden Women’s Rural Institute- one dating from 1941 and the other 1953.
Do you recognise the names? And what was British Russian week?
Would any individual or user group like to have these?
There may be more items to come as we have recently started clearing some areas where things have been left over the years.

Movie Melodies in the hall this evening from the fabulous B Flats!
Aside from a great evening’s entertainment, what we learned was that over the many years of singing, usually performing two concerts annually, our local singing group has raised a massive £50,000 for charities and good causes. That is phenomenal. Well done to everyone who has been involved over the years 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻There are a few tickets left for tomorrow night’s show - available in the village shop and from choir members.
There’s also a very fine selection of raffle prizes on the night too!
