This morning, the residents got to fuss over beautiful baby Rowan. He is 103 years younger than our oldest Kindness Connection attendee.

It felt incredibly special to see them both enjoying the same experience despite being born more than a century apart.

I am thrilled to have linked up with local nurseries to bring music sessions into care homes 🧡

The children from Little Star Nursery in Paulton are regular attendees at the Kindness Connection sessions at Bloomfield Care Centre, and next week the children from Whatcombe Farm Nursery in Frome will join me at Catherine House Care Home for a special intergenerational music session.

Staff at Little Star Nursery have reported wonderful increases in the children’s confidence, communication and social development as a result of the sessions.

It is such a joy to watch meaningful connections grow between the children and residents through music 🎵
