Using drums and percussion in care homes may not seem like an obvious choice to many but our sessions show that making music together is a powerful experience. It brings us closer and boosts wellbeing in a unique way. From a very young age, babies instinctively bounce to a rhythm. That urge to join in and connect through rhythm stays with us throughout our lives.

The Kindness Connection brings people of different generations together through a shared musical experience. Age, ability or disability are never barriers to participation.

There are always so many pockets of joy within our sessions – whether it’s a shared smile, a song remembered or a conversation held. These little things can have a huge impact on those in attendance.

So many people come away feeling brighter and happier after our sessions – it’s impossible not to smile! 🧡
