👏 WHAT AN ACHIEVEMENT FOR HIGHBURY! 👏

Every single one of our dancers has given us something to be proud of this season. From our tiniest tots taking to the floor to our incredible seniors, you have shown determination, dedication, teamwork and, most importantly, what it means to be part of Highbury. 💗

Some of our lines have faced challenges, some have had to fight harder than ever, but every single dancer has played their part in making this season one to remember.

To our dancers, whether you came home with a trophy, medal or simply the pride of knowing you gave it everything, YOU ARE ALL WINNERS IN OUR EYES! 🥹

To our trainers, helpers, parents, families and supporters, thank you for everything you do behind the scenes. We couldn’t do any of this without you!

And finally, a huge congratulations to every troupe who competed at the TRU Championships this weekend. What an incredible display of talent!

HIGHBURY, YOU HAVE DONE US PROUD! 💗🖤

Six years ago, Highbury was just a dream. Today, we stand together as one big family, celebrating achievements we could only have imagined. 🥹

Here’s to the memories, the friendships, the trophies and everything still to come.

2026, YOU’VE BEEN AMAZING! BRING ON 2027! 🏆💗🖤

From everyone at Highbury, we want to wish our England boys the very best of luck in tonight’s World Cup semi-final! 💙🤍

🚨 Highbury Morris Dancers need your help! 🚨

Unfortunately, we received an email this morning from our practice venue informing us that we won’t be able to use the hall from 15th July until 2nd September due to ongoing building works.

This couldn’t have come at a worse time as we’re right in the middle of our dance season and working hard towards the Championships in October. We are still competing every week, so cancelling practices simply isn’t an option.

We’re urgently looking for a hall or suitable indoor space in Fleetwood or the surrounding areas that is available on Tuesday evenings, Wednesday evenings, or ideally both, between 15th July and 2nd September.

If you know of any village halls, community centres, sports halls, church halls, local schools, or dance schools that may be able to help us, we’d be incredibly grateful. Even if you can point us in the right direction, we’d love to hear from you.

Please share this post, tag anyone who might be able to help, and spread the word. Every share could make all the difference and help our dancers continue training and competing throughout the season as we prepare for the Championships in October.

Thank you so much for your support—it really does mean a lot to everyone at Highbury Morris Dancers.
