Free shop based in Fleetwood for Domestic Abuse Survivors, providing access to essential items with dignity and choice, for Women and Children. Fostering self-esteem and autonomy while supporting survivors rebuild their lives free from financial burden.

Whether a Survivor has fled their home with literally the clothes on their backs or experiencing ongoing hardship due to long term post separation abuse. Here at Behind Closed Doors we want to reassure you, you are not alone.

Shop in confidence, in a safe space where a time slot will be allocated to you personally.

The World Cup is underway with the first England Match upon us 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️

Whilst fans will be excited for the game ahead, we know from first hand experience, Behind Closed Doors is filled with fear and panic for many, Win or Lose!

Some Volunteers and Survivors came together in Solidarity sharing an important Awareness message -

“Football doesn’t cause Abuse, Perpetrators choose to Abuse!”

Call out to our wonderful community

We’re looking for unopened bottles and raffle prizes for our stall at this years Fleetwood Festival of Transport held on the 19th July 🍾🧴(only 4 weeks away)

Anything in a bottle (must be in date) from Wine, Cordial to Shampoo, Perfume or even Ketchup, anything will be very much appreciated.

New/Pre loved prizes or gift vouchers for our raffle also welcome.

If our cause is close to your heart and you want to make a difference to Survivors rebuild their lives from Domestic Abuse, maybe consider holding a collection in your place of work.

Children don’t have to be physically hurt to be affected by abuse. Seeing fear, shouting, control, or violence can impact them deeply.

Our Den service is here to support children from the age of 3 who are victims of domestic abuse. Our wonderful team are passionate about making sure that our children’s voices are heard and that the right support is in place to keep them safe. Our service is free and confidential.

At peer support group last week, Survivors connected, conversation flowed, so much so we ran away with the time.

The topic of conversation was around the increase in Domestic Abuse during major football games and how to keep safe and access support⚽️
