🐝 We had a wonderful time this morning at our summer party! Thanks again to Auckland Castles for excellent service delivering and setting up the bouncy castle and ball pit. As usual, they went down a treat ❤️

🤩 Also a massive thank you to everyone who came today, and who has supported our lovely group this past year. We truly believe having a group like Bishop Middleham Bizzy Bees is so beneficial to children and their caregivers, and really hope it continues in the village for many years to come 🧡

🙏🏻 A special thank you to Bishop Middleham Village Hall for helping us out when numbers were low. PLEASE continue to tell people about us - we can only keep going if people come to the group 💛

☺️ And we would not be what we are without all our amazing helpers - head chef Sue with Yvonne, Pauline and Beryl in the kitchen, and Katie and Teri who help set out and pack up. We also have a lovely group of regulars who always rise to the challenge of craft making and party prep. Thank you all 💚

🥹 On a personal note, it was my little bees last session as he moves on to reception after the summer holidays. The change in him since we first started is immense - from a clingy baby, to a shy toddler, to the big pre-schooler happy to play with his friends and who only needs his mammy there to get him a drink! He loves a Monday at playgroup, but he’s definitely ready for school full time (even if he doesn’t think so!), so it will feel very different for us in September. I’ll be continuing to run things for a bit, but we’ll be handing over to a new team next term 🩵

🥳 IT’S NEARLY SUMMER PARTY TIME!!!

🐝 Our summer party will be 2 weeks today on Monday 13th July. We’ll have fun inflatables, soft play, and a party lunch.

🕰️ The session will run for an hour longer than usual - you can still drop in anytime. We’ll put the lunch out about 11am.

💷 The party session will be £5 per child, £3 for siblings and under 6 month old babies. If you’ve already paid for the term, it will be an extra £2.

👋🏻 We can’t wait to see you there and have lots of fun! Newcomers welcome, but there will be a charge for everyone at the party session (we’ll honour your first session free in September).

🐝 Last week we had a lot of fun with play doh - cutting and rolling and making mini play doh pizzas!

🚿 If it’s still hot tomorrow, we might do a bit of water play and wash the fruit and veg from the kitchen, so make sure to bring a change of clothes and possibly a towel!

👋🏻 We love seeing new faces, so please come and say hi if you’ve never been before. There’s only 3 more weeks and then we’re off for summer! We’re a small, friendly group and welcome all pre school ages. Don’t worry if you have a little one who might fall asleep half way through - you are still welcome to stay for a sit down and a cuppa!

🥳 Happy Father’s Day to all the magnificent men our bees look up to - we hope you love your artwork!

🐝 We’re on as normal tomorrow - we have toys for all ages and it was lovely to have a baby bee enjoying the fun last week!

❗️We have been informed that there may be some issues with the water supply in the village tomorrow while Northumbrian Water clean the pipes❗️

💧We will bring a few bottles of water (we can’t have playgroup without a cuppa!), but also suggest you bring a drink for your child, just in case.
