After nearly 10 wonderful years, it is with incredibly mixed emotions that we bring the Chance Drama journey to a close.
What an honour it has been to share so many stages, stories, laughs, challenges and unforgettable moments with generations of young people in our community. One of the greatest privileges has been watching our young people grow; not only as performers, but as individuals. We have had the unique joy of watching children arrive full of excitement and nerves, find their confidence, discover their voices and, year after year, grow into the incredible young adults they are today.
To have been part of that journey, and to have watched so many quite literally grow up with us, is something we will treasure forever. And then there are our wonderful volunteers. So much of Chance Drama has been made possible because of the people who have given their time, energy, creativity and heart to this group.
Many of us have grown alongside Chance Drama too.
Chance Drama was always about more than putting on a show.
It was about community, friendship, confidence, belonging and giving young people a place to shine. As the curtain falls on this chapter, we hope every young person who has passed through our doors takes a little piece of Chance Drama with them - the friendships, the memories, the confidence and the knowledge that they were part of something special.
Thank you to every young person, parent, volunteer, supporter and audience member who has been part of our story. Nearly ten years. Countless performances. Hundreds of memories. So many journeys watched and shared.
