Friday’s round-up… 🌱
It’s been another busy week on the farm!
* Ian moved all the newly donated paving slabs to where they’ll be used as the base for our new cool room, as well as nicely strimming some overgrown areas.
* Lots of harvesting this week, including white cabbages, beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes and aubergines, with Sally, John and Kate among those getting stuck in.
* Simon and Marcus started harvesting onions, which Cathy, Duncan, Shona, Ed and Alex continued later in the week, laying them out to dry.
* Shona and Chris dug up roots from an old bed, before Chris prepped the beds with the rotavator.
* Cabbages and radicchio were planted out. 🌱
* With our regular packers away, Nicky and Alison stepped in to help pack the shares this week. Thank you! 💚
* Teti began braiding the dried onions ready for storage. 🧅
* Seeds were sown and Jonnie continued to lend a hand with bed prep.
* Barney and Gillie did a little dance for joy when the rain very briefly came out of hiding! 🌧️
* Madeline 🐈⬛ made a new friend in Sarah. 💕🐾
