Some good news for recycling

🚀 Good news for recycling!
Empty squeezy metal tubes – like tomato purée and food paste tubes – can now go straight into your blue recycling bin as part of Surrey’s recycling refresh.
✅ Empty it
✅ Give it a quick rinse
✅ Recycle it
You’ll also be able to recycle even more items, including:
• Juice and milk cartons
• Clean, non‑black plastic plant pots
Small changes like these make a big difference - helping cut waste and boost recycling across Surrey 🌍

We are properly entering Spring now - and our plates are starting to look lovely and fresh.

🌷 If you're looking to start a seasonal eating journey, Spring is a great time to do it. Joining us in April we have:

- Radishes
- Asparagus

- Round lettuce

Alongside foods which continue to be in season like rhubarb, wild garlic and spring onions. 🥗
