Welcome to Hale Youth Centre, a venue for young people living in and around Upper Hale, Farnham.

This page provides information about our youth clubs and projects as well as signposting young people to relevant services and support. Girlz Club - Mondays 3.30-5.00pm (term time only) for girls in Year 7 and 5.30pm-7.00pm for Year 8s
Youth Club - Tuesdays 4.30pm-6.30pm for 11-14 year olds and session for 14-18s from 7.00pm - 9.00pm
Youth Club - Wednesdays 7pm-9pm (term time only) for 11-19's - All welcome
Youth Club - 'Boys Night In' - Fridays 6pm-8pm (term time only) - for 14-19 males only
Code Club - for 9-13s, first Saturday of every month (except August) - places MUST be booked

It was another busy week at our youth sessions last week, with plenty going on!

We enjoyed some baking, got creative with Halloween crafts, took part in a range of sports and rounded off the week with a disco and karaoke.

A great week of activities, creativity and fun, with something for everyone to enjoy! 🎃 We are looking forward to seeing what this week brings.

World Mental Health Day 2026
This year's theme is 'Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change" - a reminder of just how important it is to listen to people's experiences and make sure their voices are heard.
At the Youth Centre, we've been chatting with our young people about mental health and exploring what it feels like for each of us.
Mental health can sometimes be difficult to put into words, especially when we are trying to explain feelings or worries that others might not see. Some of our amazing young people were brave enough to express their feelings and worries through art, and we've brought some of their work together in a collage below.
Let's keep talking, keep listening and creating spaces where people feel safe, supported and heard.

What a busy and brilliant week it’s been at the Youth Centre.

We’ve welcomed lots of new faces, which has been fantastic, and we’ve packed the week with plenty of fun, creativity and connection. ❤️

We’ve enjoyed recording Episode 1 of our brand-new podcast, busy outreach sessions, birthday celebrations, lots of football , baking, amazing artwork, basketball and, of course, plenty of singing and dancing!

It’s been wonderful seeing everyone getting involved, trying new things and having fun together.

Our Junior Boys Group is on today. Open to young people in Year 6. We have plenty of snacks, the playstation, pool table, and football goals are ready and waiting, and James will be leading a fun fitness session for those who want to get involved. Last night's Outreach session turned into some old school dancing on the field. Our youth workers are out and about on the Sandy Hill estate every Wednesday (6.00 - 8.00pm) and Thursday (3.30 - 5.30pm). Pop along, say hello and have a chat with us!
We usually have some snacks with us too and we're always happy to listen, offer advice, answer questions, or just have a friendly chat.

We've had a busy couple of weeks at the youth centre, and it's been amazing to welcome lots of new young people.
We have celebrated some special birthdays, enjoyed MANY games of football, created some beautiful artwork, played plenty of games and, most importantly, enjoyed spending time together. We have also seen the start of an exciting new podcast project, which a group of our year 11s have started. We can't wait to see this project - and their ideas - come to life.

Sadly, due to staff sickness, we are unable to run our Young Carers Group tomorrow.

📢 Important Update – Youth Centre Session Tomorrow

Due to unforeseen work now taking place on the Youth Centre roof, we’re unfortunately unable to use the building for tomorrow’s session.

Instead, we’ll be meeting at the Hut for snacks, refreshments, and games! 🎲🍪🥤

We’ll be heading up there from around 12:00pm and would love to see you there.
