Hale Community and Youth Centre are proud to be working in partnership with Farnham Town Youth Football Club, Catherine Powell, and Surrey Police to bring an exciting summer football programme to local children and young people.
The five, free, weekly sessions will run through the summer holidays and be open to children and young people in school years 3 – 11.
There will be no cost to attend and everyone from beginners to experienced footballers are welcome to come along.
There will be two sessions – 10 - 11.45am for year 3-6, and 12:15 – 2:00pm for years 7 – 11, and each session will include: football skills and coaching, team games and challenges, friendly matches, confidence building, and fun and teamwork. The activities will be managed and led by experienced coaches and volunteers and held at Farnham Heath End School.
Please see the flyer below for more details. Spaces need to be booked in advance, and parents of children in Years 3–6 will be required to stay and supervise their child during the session.

Good Evening
It is the time of year again that we are trying to get things in motion to restart in April.
My question to the residents of Sandy Hill is, what do you feel the need is on the estate for the younger children?
Do we keep it just to football or do we open it up slightly and offer more so a bigger audience could join in?
We are always looking of ways to improve and offer more, so your feedback would be amazing.

Please note that the Defibrillator at the hut does not currently have a power supply, as all electrics have blown. The defibrillator has an internal battery so will work for a short while but it won’t last for long (less than 24 hours). Closest defibrillator is at the community centre. Hopefully the council will sort the problem out asap.

Due to unforseen circumstances we dont have enough volunteers available to do football tonight now.

I am so sorry, unfortunately work commitments will mean there is no football again tonight.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience.

We will be holding a meeting soon with it coming to the end of the season, so if anyone could message me with any feedback or ideas for next season that I can bring to the meeting it would be greatly appreciated. We are really hoping to make next season bigger and better so all feedback and ideas are welcome 😀⚽️
