Thank you 4 Sheep’s sake for letting us have so much fun again whilst decorating the roundabout of the year!

What better way to start the celebrations for International Women’s Day than showcasing Girlguiding Fleet and Farnborough by decorating Sheep!

Fleet and Farnborough Girlguiding have done it again and joined forces to promote our amazing local teams of women and girls. This years theme for International Women’s Day is Give to Gain. To the women who give their time to enable many units across Fleet and Farnborough to run, offering their girls exciting opportunities, thank you. To the girls who we hope to be positive role models for, so they become young people who see the value in giving time to others, thank you for letting us be part of your life journey.

We all give for different reasons but the most common reason is to make a difference, to support our communities and to have a positive impact. By making a difference we often get great opportunities to gain skills and try things we never dreamed possible. Including decorating sheep!

It may be half term but our Brownies, Guides and leaders have been busy!
🎃👻On Saturday a group of friends from across three Brownie units, got together to sell their Halloween themed goodies and raise money for Girlguiding as part of their charity badge.
💦 🏃‍♀️ today Guides and leaders from Crookham & Crondall district ran the drinks station and the bag drop off.
Well done to all!

Well done to 6th Fleet Brownies

Another sucessful visit by 6th Fleet Brownies who came to the "shed" lat night and made bird boxes. Just like the group last week, theybwere keen, enthauiastic, listened to the instructions and all went home with a smile and a bird box. Well done girls, it was a pleasure having both groups at the shed.

Last night was busy as we had 16 brownies from 6th Fleet attend the shed to make bird boxes. What a great bunch, attentive, well behaved and all keen to learn. After 60minutes of hammering (geez its gets noisy) all 16 went home with a smile on their faces and a bird box in their hands. Now its down to the parents to install.
Pictured is Chairman Allan with one proud brownie.

Well done girls, now looking forward to another group next week.
