Today we’re celebrating an incredible milestone – 16 years of Teresa at Woodlarks! 🎉💜

As our Nutrition and Hydration Manager (and so much more!), Teresa has been at the heart of our home for 16 years, making a difference to the lives of residents, families, and staff every single day. Her kindness, compassion, and dedication shine through in everything she does. Whether she’s ensuring our residents receive the very best care and nutrition, offering a listening ear, sharing a laugh, helping with lots in every department or simply being there when someone needs support, Teresa always goes above and beyond.

Known affectionately as “Mummy T”, she has earned this special nickname through her nurturing nature and endless care for everyone around her. She creates a warm and welcoming environment, lifts spirits on difficult days, celebrates the good times, and makes everyone feel valued and at home.

Teresa’s impact reaches far beyond her job title – she is a friend, mentor, problem-solver, and a constant source of positivity. Woodlarks simply wouldn’t be the same without her, and we are so grateful for her 16 years of commitment, hard work, and genuine love for our community.

At The Woodlarks Centre we have a small and dedicated group of wonderful volunteers and during , we would like to say a huge Thank you to each and every one of them.

A huge thank you to Penny, Gill, Nev, Dave, Hannah, Charlotte, Toby, Grace, Olivia, & Ellie who support our residents through activities, Ann- Marie & Woody- our regular therapy dog. Our volunteer drivers- Ken, John, David, Paul & Simon and of course to our amazing Trustees! 💙

Today’s fun day in the Activity Centre included delicious hot chocolates and milkshakes at the Garden Centre, sailing at Frensham Great Pond, where Yvonne proudly celebrated winning a cup last week as well as gardening, ice creams in the sunshine, and even learning the traditional skill of rope making. 🌞⛵️🍦

We started with a lovely dog walk and coffee, then it was time for hot dogs, gardening, and lots of laughter with the Rainbows and Brownies arranged by one of our valued trustees Diane🌭🌱💛

While we are a residential care home offering long-term care and respite stays, did you know we also welcome admissions for our Day Service in the Activity Centre? Our dedicated team is here 7 days a week, providing activities, friendship, and plenty of smiles!
