FREE FAMILY EVENT THIS WEEKEND

🌊 Festival for the Ocean returns to Gyllyngvase Beach! 🌊

Join us this Sunday 7 June, 11am–2pm, for a free family celebration of Falmouth's coast and marine environment.

Explore local marine life, get creative with hands-on arts and crafts, enjoy storytelling, discover marine science, learn about conservation in action, and take part in activities for all ages.

Timed activities include:
🐠 Snorkel Safari
🦑 Basket Shark and Cuttlefish Procession
🦭 Marine Stranding Demonstration
📷 Underwater Camera Demo
🧹 Community Beach Clean

Plus drop-in activities throughout the day including cyanotype art, recycled plastic weaving, ocean-themed displays, children's storytelling and more.

Hello friends. We hope you enjoyed the half term break. We’ll be back tomorrow (Tuesday) for free stay and play. Come and join us with your under 5 year olds, no need to book. Free refreshments for adults and littlies too. Our storeroom will also be open until 11am with clothing and equipment for anyone needing it - see you at 10am.

Wow! What a great community we have. Following our request for donations we’ve received so much, we’re now in the process of sorting through and will update if there’s anything we need. But for now, we don’t need any more clothing! Just nappies. Thankyou so much!

Good morning friends. The cakes are baked, tea and coffee will be on. Come and join us with your (not yet mobile) babies in a calm, friendly relaxed environment, for a natter with us and other parents, we’re a friendly bunch. Open from 10-11.30

We’ll be open tomorrow morning (Tues) for free stay and play. Bring your under fives - the kettle will be on for tea and coffee, we’ll have delicious home-made cake, also snack bowls for the children. Our store room will be open for anything you need for the little ones. ALL FREE! Come and have a chat. We look forward to seeing you 10 - 11.30am
