APPEAL | We wish to identify the man pictured in connection with an assault which took place in Falmouth town centre.

Officers received reports of a male victim being punched in the head before falling to the ground and being knocked unconscious. As a result of the attack, the victim sustained a broken jaw.

PC David Ellison said: “The incident happened on Killigrew Street at around 1.30am on 20th July of this year.

“We’ve carried out numerous enquiries into the incident and now need the public’s assistance in identifying the man pictured as we believe he may have information which could help our investigation.”

Falmouth Marine Band Cornwall who manage and lead the Falmouth Carnival would like to thank all of you who came out to support the Falmouth Carnival 2025.

𝐖𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 £𝟑.𝟓𝐤.

"As we look ahead to Falmouth Carnival 2026, we aim to build on this momentum to create an even more spectacular experience" said Mark Averiss Carnival Committee.

"As the band major of Falmouth Marine Band Cornwall and as a member for some 35 years, I can say that not only was the Carnival back with force, but the band we're too! From the event planning by our Carnival Committee to the band bringing the traditional cheer, I am very happy for them and the town, to have smashed our fundraising efforts.' - Tim Vinnicombe FMB band Major.

The Falmouth Marine Band Cornwall remains dedicated to supporting local Cornish groups and charities through fundraising efforts, specifically through Falmouth Carnival, with all collected donations and funds distributed under ballot in January 2026.
