World Day for Cultural Diversity is a moment to celebrate the value of different cultures, backgrounds and perspectives.

It is also a reminder of what people can achieve when they come together for a shared purpose.

We designed and facilitated a global programme for Qube Research & Technologies, supporting five incredible charities across five countries.

517 QRT participants took part across London, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Singapore and Sydney.

💪 In London, teams revamped a playground.
💪 In Singapore, they created an assault course.
💪 In Hong Kong, they worked on a garden.
💪 In Sydney, they developed outdoor garden seating and growing space.
💪 In Mumbai, they helped create a sensory learning space.

Each project responded to a local need.

Each one brought people together across different skills, backgrounds and experiences.

As one participant said:

“No problem is hard when you have a team behind you with different skills, backgrounds and experience.”

That feels especially fitting for World Day for Cultural Diversity.

Because dialogue and development are not only built through words. They are built through action, trust and people working side by side. 🤝

Leadership lessons, straight from the toolbox

Impact driver = momentum

Sometimes you need to break through resistance to make progress.

An Impact reminds us that leadership means creating momentum, even when the work feels tough. It’s not always about big moves - sometimes it’s about steady pressure, consistency, and keeping going.

Small actions can open up big opportunities.

For CPEE Guadarrama in Madrid, outdoor space had potential.
But for many pupils at CPEE, it was not accessible or adapted to their needs.

CPEE Guadarrama is a public special education school supporting students aged 3 to 21 with cognitive, motor and sensory disabilities. Before the project, its outdoor areas were large but not adapted to the physical and emotional needs of pupils.

That has now changed.

Across two projects, IE Business School transformed two outdoor spaces with Splash Projects. These included accessible garden areas with shade and seating, followed by an imaginative inclusive castle-themed play space with sensory walls.

For the beneficiaries, this means more than improved outdoor space.

💪 Being able to move around safely.
💪 Learning outside the classroom when the weather is good.
💪 Joining in with classmates in a space designed with their needs in mind.

As a teacher at CPEE shared, “the accessibility IE students have been able to provide… is essential.”

This is what transformation looks like when it meets a real need.

Today, on , we’re celebrating the families behind our Splash team and community.

Over the years, family members have joined us on Splash Projects, from spouses, daughters and sons to nieces, nephews and even cousins.

There is something powerful about seeing families work together with purpose. They share the effort, the encouragement, the challenges and the pride of seeing what they have helped create.

Every project brings people together through shared action. Our team, our partners, local communities and the families who come along all play a part.
Each project is shaped by the care, teamwork, laughter and commitment of the people involved.

It is in the way people encourage each other, step in when help is needed and keep going together until the work is done.
They remind us that Splash is not only about what gets built, but about who helps make it happen, and the connections created along the way.

Today, we’re grateful for every family member who has joined us and helped make Splash Projects feel like one big family. 🤝

One tool, one leadership lesson

Leadership lessons, straight from the toolbox

Tape measure = clarity

Great teams don’t guess - they get clear.

A tape measure reminds us that before you start building, you need to know what success looks like. The same goes for leadership: clear goals, clear roles, and clear communication.

When people understand the aim, they can work with confidence.

📏 Measure twice. Lead once.

Samworth Challenge 2026 completed! 🚴‍♂️🥾🛶

What an incredible day in the Peak District taking on the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge, a tough 9-hour endurance challenge packed with biking, trekking and kayaking.

The team absolutely smashed it, finishing 7th out of 47 teams in our class. A brilliant result, and we’re all so proud of the team!

Also, a huge thank you to everyone for your amazing generosity. We have raised an incredible £3,786 excluding Gift Aid so far for SSAFA the Armed Forces charity Devon and Cornwall. Your kindness means so much to the whole team.

There’s still time to donate, so if you’d like to support this fantastic cause, any contribution would be hugely appreciated.

Can you identify the tool?
Behind every tool is a team building a lasting legacy.

On every Splash Project, teams come together to transform unused spaces into places that make a difference in communities, creating a lasting legacy for the beneficiaries who use them every day.

One tool, one leadership lesson

Leadership lessons, straight from the toolbox

Pencil = planning

Before anything gets built, someone marks the first line.

A pencil reminds us that leadership starts with intention. It’s about thinking ahead, setting direction, and making sure everyone knows where they’re going before the work begins.

Clear thinking at the beginning saves confusion later.

✏️ Plan with purpose. Lead with clarity.

⏳ 4 days to go…
Thanks to the incredible support so far, we’re thrilled to share that we’ve reached our £2,500 target! 🎉

And we’re not stopping there. With just a few days to go, we’d love to keep the momentum going and raise even more for this amazing cause.

Our team will soon be taking on the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge 2026 - a 9-hour endurance challenge in the Peak District, including biking, trekking and kayaking.

We’re proud to be fundraising for SSAFA the Armed Forces charity Devon and Cornwall, which supports serving personnel, veterans and their families when they need it most.

If you’re able to support, donate or share, it would mean so much and help us go beyond our goal.

The Duchy School’s new outdoor learning area is now open!

On 30 April, staff, parents, PTFA members, supporters and the Splash team came together to mark the opening of a space that has been brought back to life for the children.

The area had become overgrown . Now, it is a vibrant outdoor learning space that every child in the school can access and enjoy.

Headteacher Simon Roberts shared his hopes for the area, seeing it as a place where lessons can come alive through science, storytelling, art and environmental learning.

It will also give pupils space to reflect, collaborate, build confidence and connect with the natural world.

As Simon said, “Team Splash were instrumental in turning our ideas into a vision.”

The sun was shining on the day, and you could already picture the space full of activity, curiosity and memorable learning experiences.
