What if our gardens and public spaces were reimagined to bring people together, grow food, and were so welcoming they become an extension of ‘home’ for everyone?

We have helped Bank ABC and East End homes do just that- transforming the garden at the Bernie Cameron Community Centre into a hub, and haven, for residents. 🌿

Residents will be able to grow fresh produce, support healthier diets and reduce food costs. New features include horizontal growing supports designed for khodu - a climbing bottle gourd widely used in Bengali cooking - to grow up and across the structure. By incorporating food-growing traditions familiar to the local Bangladeshi community.

The garden will also provide a shared place to meet, exchange knowledge and build stronger relationships. Because community growing spaces do more than nurture plants - they bring people together and help communities flourish. 🤝

For the Attlee Youth and Community Centre, this new playground represents far more than a place to play.

Based in Tower Hamlets, the charity supports more than 750 children, young people and families through inclusive activities and services, including support for children with ADHD, autism, behavioural needs and communication differences.

After five years without a proper playground, children now have a safe and welcoming space where they can be active, build confidence, develop friendships and challenge themselves through play.

The Attlee Centre’s Lead Playworker shared:

“This playground structure represents much more than a piece of equipment. It is a place where children can explore, be active, build confidence and create lasting memories.

“It will bring children of different ages and abilities together, while giving families opportunities to spend quality time together and strengthen their sense of community.”

Made possible through the commitment and hard work of 42 Deloitte volunteers, this new space will have a positive and lasting impact on local children, families and the wider community.

We’re in London! 🇬🇧

The Splash team has arrived at Belmore primary school, ready to kick off an exciting project with a London-based business school.

In just one day, 70 students will come together to build an outdoor classroom, climbing wall and obstacle course - transforming the school’s extensive grounds into more engaging, accessible spaces for pupils and the wider school community.

The transformation will support the academy’s commitment to creating an inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive. The school supports children from Nursery through to Year 6, with a strong focus on ensuring pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) have the support and opportunities they need to thrive.

Keep an eye out for updates and follow the journey as the transformation takes shape!

The transformation at The Park Community School in Barnstaple is complete.

After a fantastic team effort through rain and the hot English sun, the new outdoor classroom and firepit area is ready for pupils to enjoy. The space has been designed to give children - particularly those with additional needs who may find indoor environments challenging - a welcoming place to learn, connect and spend time outdoors.

It’s great to see the vision for this space brought to life and to know it will have a lasting impact on pupils for years to come.
