A lasting impact for thousands of young people 💚

The incredible efforts of 270 Imperial Business School students at Woodrow High House - Outdoor Learning & Leisure Centre have created something that will benefit young people for years to come.

Part of London Youth, Woodrow provides outdoor learning experiences that help young people build confidence, develop new skills and challenge themselves, regardless of their background or ability.
Nightline is one of Woodrow's most popular activities, enjoyed by thousands of young people each year. However, the previous course presented barriers for those with limited mobility.

Thanks to the Imperial students' hard work and determination, the new accessible course will give more young people the opportunity to take part, build trust, develop communication skills and overcome challenges.

The new course will become a staple activity for visiting schools, youth organisations and community groups, creating more inclusive experiences for years to come.

A huge well done to all Imperial Business School students! Their teamwork and dedication have created something that will make a lasting difference to young people. 👏

What a transformation! 🌿

The before and after photos from the Leicester Big Build 2026 show the incredible difference the Samworth Brothers team has made at Team Hub in Leicester.

Team Hub CIC is a resident-led community hub in New Parks, providing a welcoming place for local people of all ages to connect, access support and take part in activities, from youth and family programmes to wellbeing, gardening and community groups.

Over four days, volunteers from Samworth Brothers sites across Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire, along with members of the Samworth family, a team from Leicester-based charity Leicestershire Cares Ltd and members of the local community, came together to transform an underused outdoor space into a welcoming forest school and garden area, complete with seating pods, planters, an outdoor classroom and a stage for the community to enjoy.

A lasting transformation created by the Samworth Brothers team for Team Hub and the wider New Parks community. 💚

The Splash team has arrived at Hackney Play Association in London, UK, ready to begin another exciting project with Qube Research & Technologies (QRT).

Across two days, 400 participants will be getting stuck in, creating everything from a hideaway den and outdoor kitchen to a multi-level castle, planters, seating and much more - all designed to enhance the space for the local community.

Along the way, participants will have the chance to connect with colleagues, collaborate in new ways and put their teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills into practice.

This is also the start of five global QRT for Good projects, taking us from London to Sydney as QRT gives back to communities around the world.

A fantastic three days 💪

270 Imperial Business School students came together at Woodrow High House and Leisure Centre to build a brand-new accessible Nightline obstacle course.

The students were brilliant throughout, throwing themselves into an unfamiliar challenge, working as teams, solving problems, adapting quickly and taking ownership to get the project over the line.
The finished course includes an accessible ‘car wash’, maze room and much more, creating a fun and challenging experience for visitors that will help build communication, trust and teamwork.

The Splash team thoroughly enjoyed working alongside the students and seeing everything they achieved over the three days. The project gave them the opportunity to put their learning into action while creating real, lasting community impact.

A fantastic evening at the English Veterans Awards! 🎉

The awards celebrate Armed Forces veterans, reservists and organisations making a real difference across business, fitness, sport and the wider community. They shine a light on those who have gone above and beyond following their transition from military to civilian life, as well as the organisations that continue to support and champion the Armed Forces community.

We were incredibly proud to have three finalists from our team. It was lovely to be together, celebrate their achievements and recognise the inspiring work being done across the military community.

The Leicester Big Build 2026 is complete! 💪

Over four action-packed days, incredible volunteers from Samworth Brothers sites across Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire, along with members of the Samworth family, a team from Leicester based charity Leicestershire Cares and members of the local community came together to transform Team Hub’s outdoor space into a new forest school and garden area, complete with seating pods, planters, an outdoor classroom and a stage.

The build was a brilliant opportunity for colleagues to work side by side, make a real difference in the community and bring Samworth Brothers’ values to life.

A huge thank you to every volunteer who brought their energy, teamwork and determination to the build!

The Leicester Big Build 2026 is here! Samworth Brothers are bringing colleagues together for four days of hands-on community impact, with the Splash team now on the ground and ready to help bring the build to life.

Across four days, 80 participants will transform an outdoor space into a new forest school and garden area, including seating pods, planters, an outdoor classroom and a stage - making a lasting impact for the local community while strengthening teamwork and connections.

As Splash Project Manager Peter C says: “We can't wait to get onto this project: working again with an engaging and enthusiastic team of people to produce a well-needed and attractive forest school & garden area for Team Hub - a community centre, run by the local community for the local community.”

Three days. 270 Imperial Business School students. One sensory obstacle course with a lasting purpose.

The Splash team has arrived at Woodrow High House and Leisure Centre in Amersham, UK, ready to kick off another project with Imperial Business School, supporting the incredible work of Woodrow High House.

Splash has worked with Imperial Business School since 2021, giving students the opportunity to put teamwork, leadership and problem-solving into action through practical projects with real community impact.

This year, over three days, students will be building a new sensory obstacle course, from a maze room to an accessible seesaw bridge – and plenty more! Once complete, beneficiaries will tackle the course in blacked-out goggles, testing communication, trust and teamwork.

As Splash Project Manager Steve says: “This is the third time I’ve worked with the Imperial Business School programmes, and they are always a pleasure to work with. We’re also focusing on enhancing accessibility, allowing wheelchair and limited-mobility users to enjoy the challenge. It’s a privilege to be involved with such an impactful project.”

This is what four days of energy, teamwork and commitment looks like.

Last week, the Queen’s Business School students got stuck into QBS Community Impact: Lead with Purpose. Build with Impact. at Carew Family Centre in East Belfast.
From day one to the final push, the energy and commitment from the students was fantastic. They built, painted, dug, problem-solved, adapted and worked together to keep the project moving.
With a lot to accomplish in just four days, the students had the chance to develop their leadership, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills throughout the project.
And they embraced it - bringing plenty of determination, adaptability and good humour along the way.

A huge well done to everyone who took part - what a fantastic four days! 👏

A huge congratulations to Josh Poole on completing IRONMAN Wales in Tenby - one of the toughest full-distance IRONMAN events around.

Taking on a 3.8km swim, 180km bike ride and 42.2km marathon is an incredible test of endurance, determination and resilience. Josh took on every part of the challenge and made his way up the iconic red carpet to the finish line.

We were proud to support Josh on his IRONMAN Wales journey, with Splash Projects sponsoring his TRI suit alongside Capitan Property Services, First Shield International Ltd and Devon Valley Ltd.

At Splash Projects, we know that achieving big goals takes dedication. Whether you’re taking on an IRONMAN or delivering a project, success takes preparation, commitment, teamwork and the determination to keep moving forward when things get tough.

Josh certainly demonstrated all of those qualities in Tenby.
