Join us for an evening of Remembrance, Release, and Reclamation on Friday 13th — a day once sacred to the Divine Feminine, ancient goddess traditions and women’s power, before it was feared and suppressed..

Before patriarchal distortion, Friday belonged to Venus/Freya, and the number 13 honoured the lunar cycle, menstruation, and the innate wisdom of women. To gather intentionally on this day is both devotion and resistance - a radical act of remembering and return

We have held this workshop and circle before, and it was powerful, moving, and deeply liberating for all involved..

This is spiral work, not linear healing...

For those returning, you will not be repeating the same experience - you will be meeting it from a new place within yourself, uncovering deeper layers of truth and embodied power 

The evening will include ~

~ Information and discussion on the Witch Wound
~ Journey with Reiki drumming
~ Vocal toning
~ Sharing circle
~ Sister anointing ritual

The witch wound lives in the inherited fear, grief, and silencing carried in the bodies and psyches of women (and some men) after centuries of persecution, shaming, and suppression of feminine intuition, healing, and power.

In this workshop we will come together to remember and honour all that our ancestors endured. Through embodied practices, the steady beat of the drum, and the medicine of our own voices, we will begin to release the pain, shame, and fear held across generations

From this place of shared witnessing and healing, we reclaim ❤️‍🔥

And this work ripples far beyond us. Through the Red Thread we heal backwards through our lineage and forwards to those yet to come. Together, we support the rising of feminine energy and help to weave a world where women feel safe, seen, and powerful in who they truly are

And so it is

A little update about our Witch Wound: Remember Release & Reclaim event on Friday 13th March..

At the moment we don’t quite have enough bookings to confirm the hall, so we may need to cancel the venue if numbers don’t increase. 

We know that many of our participants often book last minute, and we’ve had several enquiries about this event, so if you have been feeling the call to join us please do secure your place by tomorrow night as this is when we need to confirm whether the event can go ahead in the space, which is a little hall in Yettington, the 'little hut' as it has been affectionately called by the women who have gathered there in the past at our wonderful friend Laura Oseland's previous women's circles and events where Laura and I first met 🧵✨💓

We feel a little saddened to be writing this, but we also deeply understand that so many of us have a lot going on right now...

We just want to remind that our circles and events  are something we offer as a place for us all to pause, breathe, reconnect, and remember ourselves amidst the busyness of life 💓

Whatever happens with the venue, Laura and I will still be gathering on Friday 13th with the women who have already booked. The drum will still sound, the space will still be held, and the work of remembrance and reclamation will still happen just sadly not at the planned venue if we don't get any more bookings xx

For me Imbolc and the warmth of Bridgid's flame, is the perfect antidote for the dreariness that can sometimes be felt at this time of the year

Mama Earth appears to be dormant but deep beneath the hardened soil she is stirring.. Seeds quicken in the dark, roots swell and stretch and the first green shoots gather courage from her womb

This is the time of 'in the belly' — when life is not always visible, but it is undeniably present

So too within us 🙏✨

Imbolc reminds us that growth does not begin with action, but with listening.. With tending the inner flame. With trusting that what is forming in the dark will in time, rise toward the light 🙏

There are still spaces to gather with us to honour Imbolc - a sacred pause to listen to what is stirring within

The Stirring – An Imbolc Gathering for Women

Imbolc marks the sacred moment when the first stirrings of life awaken beneath the soil. A time of renewal, inner listening, and gentle ignition, it invites us to honour both the returning light and the quiet spark growing within.

The Stirring is a nourishing women’s gathering devoted to connecting with the flame of Bridgid — goddess of fire, creativity, healing, and inspiration — and to tending our own inner hearth. Through somatic movement, guided meditation, ritual, reflection, and craft, we will explore themes of awakening as we stand at the threshold between winter and spring

Held in a warm, supportive circle, this mini retreat offers space to slow down, reconnect with yourself and others, and consciously welcome what is beginning to emerge in your life

A light, plant-based lunch will be shared as part of the day, supporting both body and soul

We march because we are tired of shouting into a society that refuses to listen
We march because the violence hasn’t stopped, and the silence around it is killing us

This is why Reclaim the Night matters. This is why I’m sharing these truths

Because..
On average in the UK, a woman is killed by a man every 3 days.
Also in the UK, less than 1% of reported r**es lead to a conviction
1 in 3 women will experience physical or sexual violence in their lifetime

Because..
I was in an abusive relationship from the ages of 15-24
where I experienced coercive control as well as physical, sexual, and financial abuse at the hands of my partner

Because..
2 of my friends were in a relationship with a man who went on to kill a woman. I have personally heard countless disclosures of r**e, assault, sadistic manipulation, emotional abuse and more

So this is a cause that is so close to my heart. I feel like it should be for everyone… but so many are not willing to face these harsh realities, or they feel so helpless that it feels easier to turn away.

And so the suffering does not end even when the abuse does. It is continued by a society that looks away, that victim blames, that gaslights and doubts, that protects perpetrators and isolates survivors. A society that still asks “why didn’t she leave?” instead of “why did he harm her?” A society that normalises coercion, excuses violence, and calls it “complicated.”

This is why the 16 Days of Action matters.
This is why we speak, even when it shakes us.
This is why we refuse to be silent
This is why we march

Because the stories of women and survivors deserve more than disbelief.
Because the cycle ends when society chooses to stop turning away.
Because every single one of us has a role in ending gender-based violence — not just the people who have lived it, but the people who dare to witness it.

May we choose courage. May we choose truth. May we choose change.

And may we honour every survivor by finally creating a world that is safe for us to exist in

And so it is
So be it
