Working World

We have had a busy few weeks at Working World, our Clients have been delivering leaflets, cooking and serving their monthly community lunches, cleaning the Red Lion and Ourside youth Centre, packing sweets, and planning and cooking daily lunches at Working World.

All our lunches are planned, prepared and cooked by the Clients with support from staff, therefore promoting their independent living skills.

Todays lunch was delicious home made vegetable soup and home made cheese scones which the Clients made with Kevin :)

Just back from a wonderful couple of days at Warners Heythrop Park. We all had a fabulous time and even got to have a drink on the way at The Farmers Dog 🙂

All the staff at Working World would like to congratulate our new Project Manager Harriet. Harriet has worked closely alongside Helen for the last few years and has took up her new post this month.

After 18 years Helen has decided to take a well earned step back and is enjoying her new supporting role. She is still working closely with Harriet and all the staff and is enjoying spending more time supporting the Clients.

Good luck Harriet in your new role, and thank you Helen for all you have done and continue to do.
