From 18-20 June MU members around the world will be praying for Chelmsford diocese and its link dioceses of Doko and Owo in Nigeria, Rejaf in South Sudan, the military episcopate in Kenya and Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. In our 150th year we give thanks for the Wave of Prayer, connecting our members worldwide in global fellowship and prayer 🙏

Safeguarding in the Church of England is not simply about compliance with guidance or completing the right forms. It is about people and for those of us who seek to follow Jesus, it is about how we live our faith.

It’s Not Just Policy, It’s Personal is a timely reminder that at the heart of every safeguarding concern is a human being who has taken a brave and often costly step in speaking about harm.

Our 150th Anniversary Annual Gathering brought members from across Britain & Ireland, alongside partners and guests from our worldwide Mothers' Union family, together for a day of worship, reflection and inspiration.

From looking back on our rich history to celebrating the impact of our work today and looking ahead to the future, it was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, share stories and renew our commitment to serving families and communities through faith in action.

Yesterday over 1,500 members gathered at St Paul's Cathedral to celebrate 150 years of Mothers' Union, giving thanks for a movement that has transformed lives through faith, compassion and service across the world. 💙

From humble beginnings in 1876 to a global community of millions, this milestone is a testament to the dedication of generations of members who have strengthened families, empowered communities and shared God's love in action.

As we celebrate our past, we also look ahead with renewed purpose, continuing to light the way for generations to come. Here's to the next 150 years of faith in action!
