In Northern Ireland we have this week's Supreme Court ruling against how religion is taught in NI schools; and in the Republic of Ireland we have the seemingly defamatory statement by High Court Justice Creegan against Enoch Burke who continues to oppose the imposition of transgender ideology in schools.

A morning at The Clinton Centre exploring identity, memory, and history, followed by a Perspectives Tour across Enniskillen and Sligo, connecting stories of borders, imagination, and the people who shaped this region.

Yesterday Navigating Polarities Workshop took place at the Parliament Buildings, Stormont, an inspiring setting for open dialogue and reflection.

The session began with presentations from polar perspectives “Safeguarding the Union” and “United Ireland Commissions” by Prof. Peter Shirlow, followed by a UISCE-facilitated discussion led by Dr. Rod Miller and his team.

Together, participants explored how listening across differences can create understanding and shape a shared future.
