Erne Cot Adventures Erne Cot Adventures is a group associated with Blue Green Yonder. Our aim is to build, row and promote erne cots. Open to all.

The erne cot is a traditional flat bottomed boat which is unique to Lough Erne and has been used for nearly a thousand years.

On the 16/11/24 construction officially began on the Castle Island cot boat build. At the end of the day we got to the crux of the matter... & 3 doors cut and glued together. Then some crutches cut with the next step of cutting out the sides of the cot. The cot build is sponsored by Waterways Ireland Blue Green Yonder Lough Erne Landscape Partnership
