Cancer Connect NI is a Co. Fermanagh charity supporting and guiding those affected by cancer.

Cancer Connect NI is a County Fermanagh charity, supporting and guiding those affected by cancer. The Cancer Connect Centre provides information, guidance and practical support within a safe and confidential environment to individuals and their families who have been touched by cancer. The Cancer Connect NI Centre offers:
Specialist Complementary Therapists
Rise and recliner chair loan service
Listening Ear Service
Fitting and Supply of Amoena Products
Speaker/Information Talks
Garden of Tranquillity
Courses/Classes
Beauty and Skincare Workshops
Information Service
Signposting to Professional Counselling

Cancer Connect NI aims to help cancer patients come to terms with their diagnosis and assist them and their families through their cancer journey.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

This is a guide and a reminder to carry out self-checks on a regular basis. Contact your GP immediately if you notice unexplained changes, skin texture changes, or ni**le abnormalities.

Women aged 50 to 71 are automatically invited for an NHS breast screening mammogram every 3 years.

Oisín's Memorial Run 5k Run /Walk

Venue : St Aidan's High School Derrylin Co. Fermanagh

Entry : Reg on the day event , reg from 12 noon

Info : We would like to warmly invite you to join us for Oisín’s First Memorial Run on Sunday, 4th October 2026.
As many of you know, running was a huge part of Oisín’s life. He was a naturally gifted runner and an exceptional athlete, and running brought him great happiness and joy. It was Oisín’s final wish that his memory would be celebrated through something he truly loved.
We want Oisín to be remembered for his gentle nature, his warm smile and the happiness and positivity he brought to those around him. We also want him to be remembered for the incredible courage, dignity and determination he showed throughout his cancer journey. Oisín remained positive and faced every challenge with remarkable strength. We hope that his courage and determination will continue to inspire others, particularly those facing a cancer diagnosis of their own.
On the 4th October, we hope you will come together with us to honour Oisín’s wishes and celebrate his life and memory by taking part in this special 5K Run/Walk. Whether you run, walk or simply come along to support, we would love to have you there.
All proceeds from the event will go to two wonderful charities that supported Oisín throughout his treatment — Cancer Fund for Children and Cancer Connect.
For now, please save the date and join us as we come together to celebrate Oisín, his love of running and the wonderful memories he has left with us.
