We are absolutely blown away by the incredible effort of Nikki McCaughey, who is hiking a massive 100 miles this October! 🥾🍂

Nikki is hiking these miles for a very special reason—in honor of her wonderful Nanny. As part of this mighty journey, she is even taking on the ultimate climb by hiking up Carrauntoohil, the highest mountain in Ireland! ⛰️🇮🇪

Every single step she takes and every pound she raises will go directly toward helping us provide vital "Social Medicine", peer support, and complementary therapies to local families navigating a cancer diagnosis right here in Fermanagh.

She is already 46% of the way toward her £2,000 target, but she needs our help to cross the finish line! 🏁

This September, for Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month, we are proud to share this vital campaign from the Western Health and Social Care Trust 💜.

Across Northern Ireland, specialist nurses are highlighting the warning signs of the five gynaecological cancers and where to access care.

This campaign leads us directly into World Gynaecological Cancer Day ( ) on September 20th—a massive global movement dedicated to raising awareness, improving early diagnosis, and supporting patients globally.

If you or a loved one are navigating a diagnosis, you don't have to face it alone. Our very own GOSh (Gynaecological Oncology Sisterhood) Support Group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 11:00 AM right here at the SWELL Centre (26 Cross Street, Enniskillen).
It is a safe, warm space for peer support, a friendly chat, and shared experiences.🙍‍♀️☕️
Everyone is welcome.

Roley has been an integral part of the SWELL family since the very first day we opened our doors. Over the years, his dedication, compassion, and warmth have provided a safe haven and vital emotional support for so many individuals and families affected by cancer across Fermanagh. 🫂🙏
We truly do not know what we would do without him!

Mark is dusting off his bicycle to take on a massive 50-mile cycle from one end of Erne West to the other. 🚴‍♀️

This is an incredible effort to raise funds, which will help us to continue to provide vital support services and activities for our neighbours and friends affected by cancer right here across Fermanagh.

I might come to regret this, but on Saturday 19 September I've set myself the task of cycling 50 miles from one end of Erne West to the other, taking in a few of the villages along the way. I'll be doing it to raise money for three charities that make a real difference to people across Fermanagh and beyond.

Every penny raised will be split equally between:

🚁 Air Ambulance Northern Ireland
💙 SWELL, local cancer support centre
💚 The Aisling Centre, dedicated mental health charity

I haven't been on a bike in many years, so over the coming weeks I'll be dusting the bike off and really hoping the training goes to plan😅

🚶‍♂️Scaling the "Stairway to Heaven" for Niall & SWELL

Emma Martin and her wonderful family are coming together for a massive challenge on Sunday, 6th September at 8:00 AM. They will be taking on the Cuilcagh Mountain walk—famously known as the "Stairway to Heaven"—to raise vital funds for us here at SWELL Cancer Support Centre.🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️

This incredible effort is deeply personal. Emma’s brother-in-law, Niall Martin, is currently undergoing cancer treatment. During this challenging time, the Martin family has been using our services in Enniskillen. We are privileged to support them, just as we support cancer patients and their families across Fermanagh and the surrounding areas.🧡

Thanks to your incredible kindness, the family has already raised over £525!
