September is here. Back to school.
The holidays are over and, for many families, the return to school brings a mixture of emotions.
For some children, thereβs excitement; seeing friends again, getting back into a routine and starting a new school year.
But for others, it can feel much harder.
π What if I donβt make new friends?
π How will I cope at secondary school?
π What if I canβt face going in?
π What happens when school feels overwhelming?
And as parents we carry those worries too.
Weβre trying to support our children, fighting for the right support when theyβre struggling, navigating schools and services all while juggling work, family life and everything else that comes with being a parent.
If this sounds familiar, please know youβre not alone. π
There are so many families experiencing similar worries, challenges and emotions. Sometimes, simply being able to talk to someone who gets it can make a real difference.
Our next Parent Hub session will focus on school anxiety.
Come along, have a cup of tea β, chat with other parents, share experiences and swap ideas and strategies that might help.
No judgement. No pressure. Just a safe space to talk.
π Wednesday 23 September
π 10amβ12pm
π 7 Hyde Gardens, Eastbourne, BN21 4PN
You donβt have to navigate it alone. π
